They would be nuts to reject it tbh; last year of contract, player seems to have gone AWOL and chairman seemingly wants rid anyway.
I highly doubt they will get a better offer, i'm actually surprised we have gone this high.
Yeah, I'm rather surprised we've gone in at 6.9 after the intial 4-5. Hopefully this will bring Aulas to his senses that he is unlikely to get better.
They could if we don't buy him outright. But then they will risk pissing interested clubs off and deal with the risk that he's found guilty and the investment in him going tits up.
Reckon they will go along with his release clause fee.
Most likely a buyout clause will be written in the loan contract, surely?
Should have made it clearer. I meant buyout clause = release clause, with it being mandatory if guy is found innocent.

Only NUFC would stick a clause like that in a contract
It's a fair clause though. No club will risk spending millions on a player with a potential court case hanging over his head. Loan with a view to buy is the best option for both buying and selling clubs as well as the player.
Hope this is a sign that we have come up with possible vibes or agreement on wages from the player himself, so we can push forward with a deal with QPR.
