"He's a prick and no son of Sunderland".

I'll have to watch it now, hopefully an easy match for him and it'll mean he's rested for the next one.
-
Apparently played the 90 mins against Colombia. Hopefully he gets a rest v Argentina, not expecting it though.

Especially how quickly they dismissed the possible foul by Joelinton. -

Just watching it now (match officials mic'd up). -
Good chance missed by Brentford after Liverpool have dominated the first half hour.

Keeping Trippier at RB obviously priority. -

Think Bruno is a bigger miss than Wilson. Hope Miley continues to show some composure should he be the replacement. On paper we might be OK for this match with players returning for Chelsea but our away form suggests otherwise. I'm going 1-2. -
Remember watching it before the League Cup final earlier this year, got me. Then the match happened, need to get Howay the Lads chant returned for cup matches at least.

It feels a bit wrong spinning the positives on players getting injured but I'd feel it less if it wasn’t for the absolute mess we're in.

It's a bit concerning isn't it. Hopefully they're just keeping things in house and he's recovering. Half expecting an announcement that he now needs surgery, but I'm a pessimist. -
The Keegan, Jinky Smith ect references my particular highlight.

As I thought, Wilson must be fit for this given he's in the England aquad. -

Lose and we'll likely drop two places going into the break. -
Champions League 2023/2024: Group F (Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund, PSG)
frankpingel replied to Marko NUFC's topic in Football
As I've said I get your point of view. But ,for me, winning something would be incredible. Obviously I'd much rather that be the CL but being realistic we'd have a better chance in this years EL. I think my mentality has changed as I get older. Last year's cup final hit me more than most so another go at that (League Cup) or the EL this season which resulted in us actually winning something is more important for me. -

Can understand those being "all in" for the CL but we're now dealing with the reality of here and now. Dropping into the EL would enhance any chance of actually winning something. This could still be the greatest season in most folks living memory. -

Always thought Europa was an achievable goal this season. Hopefully we have an opportunity in the final group match to secure a place. Obviously still some good teams but, much like the League Cup, we've a chance of going all the way. -
Not started at all well. Bruno and Joelinton not touched the ball.

Yep, the circus will have moved on. -
A great watch, especially for the neutral.

Was on Talksport this morning. Ended his career there at 41 years old playing in same team as his, then 16, son.
