Read comments elsewhere like "not bothered I'm on ten year fixed price" . What are they expecting when that ends and the jump in price will hit hard. I thought with TV money and commercial ( not so much us ) being the source of the vast majority of Premier League clubs revenue that matchday income wasn't that significant? So why the price hike? Is it to cover our deficiencies commercially.

Well I now know how I'd feel immediately after if it does happen.

I've not commented as I've nothing of any value to add but that the lack of any updates from all involved is, in my opinion, positive. We'll hear a denial or confirmation when it's absolutely necessary.

I put money on that was the Sunderland fans trying and cause a bit of attention and saying we are obsessed. As if a Newcastle fan would turn up kitted out where a large group of Sunderland fans are, stinks of total bullshit and obsession to try and cause a stir between themselves. Seen a video/photo of the strip being burned but has anyone seen one of the supposed fan having his shirt taken off him? There would almost definitely be video evidence if it had been a Newcastle fan wearing it.

Serious question, did Newcastle fans act like this with Gazza, Beardsley & Waddle late 80s/Italia 90? If anything it was more lamenting what might have been (had we kept them), rather than any faux Newcastle success. This was definitely my feelings at the time, from memory.

1st bad (terrible) one that comes to mind is Peter Cartwright although I could probably name others equally inept given time. Changed my mind as Kevin Pugh I seem to recall had difficulty remaining on his feet never mind being an effective footballer.
