Rafa said he had hands on his face and that 'they don't know the rules in England'....not sure how that comes across as him not thinking it's a foul, unless hands in the face is allowed.

And give some game time to Dummett, Fernandez, Diame, Ki, etc. And probably do Almirons ACL or something equally as lovely. Nah, I like the idea of this game tbf. Like you say good chance for a few of them to get some game time. -
If only he didn't have his standard lie down...

Put your money on them to win every game then, problem solved...thanks

Only thing I'd argue about the time is that I'm not sure where the 4 mins came from. But fuck that, there's other more important factors in it.
-
Wonder if that was said during the 'get out of our club' chants that were ringing around the away end.

It's acceptable if the ref hasn't seen it as a foul, although given Dubs had comfortably caught about 8 similar crosses, I'd like to think the ref seen at least something out of the ordinary that was worthy of consideration. I can't get away with people who have seen the replay claiming it isn't a foul. That's because a lot of people refuse to admit they made a mistake. For more examples, via any debate about Brexit. Carragher being the prime example of this. So much cringe him trying to justify it not being a foul 'but...but...but...it only looks like a foul when it's slowed down'
-
Jesus. He made one mistake against Spurs. Last night he was quality until he was fouled in the last seconds, hardly bad form.
-
Rafa at first said he wasn't clear whether it was a foul as he couldn't see it. Then later on said there was hands on his face, and that 'in England they do not know the rules'. Assuming this was after he had seen a replay.
-
The 'being stronger' argument could be true if he was challenging fairly for the ball, he's got a hand in his face pulling him back That's going to impede anyone no matter how hard he tries. It's only a clanger if it's 100% his fault, which it isn't. I'm sure he will try to make it his next time, but if he's got hands round his face again he'll probably not get it.
-
Weird how many people don't see that tbh. 'clanger' ffs
-
And you just know the fa will charge him for those comments now He knows as well but not sure he'll care really, getting his point across He was fucking seething on the pitch last night and that was before he had seen the foul properly.
-
It's the fact that it's a foul that's a sickener tbh. All the 'he'll be fine' comments etc are pissing me off I would imagine he will be fine, he was quality last night until he was fouled, pulled off a couple of great saves, plucked a fair few crosses out of the air and relieved the pressure. If anything, he'll be gutted at the amount of people who don't see it as a foul. The pictures are pretty damning evidence no matter how people are trying to view it, none more so than that last pic on the above tweet.

It has to help with some of the shit we get against us though. Can't be any worse as far as we are concerned.

Still class.

Rafa more or less said this, that in England they allow the player to impede the keeper so you should always punch it to prevent them the chance. Rafa also said he wasn't clear on whether it was a foul. It's alright saying punch it, but the evidence is there that he was fouled....which makes everything else moot. You have two pundits in the studio who still don't think he was fouled. That is why Rafa is saying punch it, too many people don't think it's a foul unless the keeper is actually assaulted. Don't give the shitty refs any option for the inevitable poor decision basically. Because you know they will give them. As far as I'm concerned Rafa hadn't seen the replay properly when he made those comments, you're now seeing what he has to say once he's seen it. As for Carragher, I'm sorry like but he'd made his mind up already. You could actually see him looking for reasons why he was right when he slowed it down paused for a good few seconds then said 'it looks worse when it's slow lets watch in real time'. No one can convince me that it wasn't a foul and I'm fairly certain Dubravka deals with it if he wasn't fouled, especially considering his form all night.

Rafa knows Dubravka fucked up. Rafa also knows if he has a pop, the spineless cunts at the PL will give him a fine. 100% lol You could see when he got asked.
-
He'd been catching all night, it's a foul plain and simple like.
-
Carragher 'if you speed it up it doesn't look as bad'
-
That pic changes my mind on whether it's a foul like. Game ended up going to 96 mins, bollocks. Almiron foul at the corner flag. Like fuck was it fair man. Full of shit these. 'It is a contact sport' ... fuck off Carragher.

12 days to mull it over as well....fuckin cunts.
