Ive already addressed this though. To me the very existence of VAR is ruining the spontaneity and human element of the game. It’s a sport played by humans involving human error and raw emotion. That’s what makes it so special. Freeze frames, drawing arbitrary lines, having to wait to celebrate, trying to find a reason to chalk off a goal. It’s all the complete antithesis of why we play the game. It’s poisoning the whole thing.

We need fan groups to protest about VAR I reckon. Try to get it removed.

I’m actually getting more and more angry and upset about it. It’s totally ruining the sport for me.

There is though. It’s ruining an organic, human and real time game by adding in technology, freeze frames, millimetre measurements. Makes the crowd and players wait to truly celebrate. It’s the antithesis of emotion. I hate it.

VAR ruining yet another game Get rid. It adds nothing to the game and takes away a lot of joy.
