Ba going pays for this deal, I assume? Lovely.
-
Goals are pretty important, yo.
-
The Ba/Cisse "problem" was only a problem to our inept manager tbh. Almost every other manager would kill to have them in their team and would try far harder to make it work.
-
Agreed. He's very far from being "finished".
-
The backlash will be hilarious when this doesn't happen and Ba is smashing them in for a team in the title race.
-
Was dearly hoping he'd been sacked before I got back

Them loaning us a striker should have killed that off.

Thing is that when he snuffs it, because its ManU, the FA will ask us all to show respect, despite his total disrespect for our football club and of course many, many other clubs too. He should be shown the same level of respect he has shown us, other clubs and referees over the years. He has been nice about us and Pardew as recently as a few months ago tbf. We always get his best team but he's usually respectful of us. Ya kidding man? You're confusing respect with the inane drivel that comes out after his team have won. He hates us. He couldn't contain his delight upon hearing we'd been relegated. http://www.goal.com/en/news/9/england/2011/11/24/2772258/manchester-uniteds-sir-alex-ferguson-praises-alan-pardew http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/newcastle-united/nufc-news/2012/09/28/sir-alex-hails-newcastle-united-boss-alan-pardew-72703-31918666/ Sounds genuine to me.

+ Very well put across, that, fair play Pards Manager is asked a question in a press conference, answers it fairly. "Needs to learn to shut his mouth!" Who's said that in relation to those comments? No-one? Sorry does it have to be EXACT words? And yet I'm right as we're being branded a "wee club from the North East" all over the world this morning while Pardew is looking like a hypocrite. But he's in the headlines so 1-0 Pardew.

If you watch the actual interview, he's being dead jovial about the discussion bit, everyone's laughing. He's hardly launched a scathing attack on baconface. His incredibly smug/sarcastic reaction at the asking of the question was probably enough on it's own to warrant a repost from Ferguson.

Pardew got done because blatantly pushing a linesman is a much easier thing to punish someone for. He shouldn't have tried to fight this battle as he's throwing stones in a glass house.

Anyway, time to get rid of the WUM surely? He isn't a WUM, he's just a Manu fan. I think that's the reality of it really; as i say - they're just another breed of football fan altogether. A Manu fan who is my age has probably had less ruined weekends in their life, than a typical supporter gets over the course of a few seasons. Impossible to take their viewpoint seriously on anything. I hate them as much as anyone so I certainly agree but he's clearly here to laugh at us over what's been said and many are taking the bait.

Pardew hasn't got a leg to stand on about the arguing with officials thing because of the push. A half intelligent person would have avoided getting into all this based on that very easy "comeback" but Alan "no comment" Pardew just needs to be in the headlines.

Why did he volunteer the information himself for no reason back in September? Here's the quotes (after the Everton game)... Completely out of context and unprompted after we'd all thought it was over 6 weeks before that. Wonder why

Regardless, it does us far more damage than just not saying anything would. I personally wouldn't be constantly touting around my top scorer in public even if his agents are doing it privately.

everyone in football will already know about the clause, i doubt it was news to anyone in the game when redknapp first broadcast it and you'd think if he wanted to move him out he'd just bench him. i don't buy this idea of pardew saying things to the press to try and get rid of players when it's so much easier to do it through agents or whatever. more likely pardew keeps referring to it to make sure he doesn't get the blame like when carroll left. I can't remember any other club ever mentioning a very important players very low release clause as much as we have. Add it to the Tiote "we can't reject decent bids" stuff and it's a very worrying trend. "If we were to get an offer for Atam we'd have to consider it because we're not in the top 4....pls bid"

Can't wait to see what "moving Demba on" will involve. Pardew's been begging teams to buy him for at least a year (including those quotes). Maybe try selling him at the club shop?
