"We have had the worst injury crisis in the club's history and in any other club's history," Glenn Roeder. The next step for Pardew is to cancel training like Kinnear did. A big PR stunt to cover his failings even more.

A quite remarkable claim. It's nice to have a manger with such a positive outlook... It feels like all we're getting are constant soundbites of 'We're a mess. I don't know what to do. It's all going against me. The players I've got aren't good enough.....We're in this together and must turn this around'. How's that going to help motivate? The players will definitely buy into all this nonsense whether they intend to or not. If someone keeps telling you you look tired you'll start to feel tired. On Bobby Robson's first day with us he went round the training ground telling "injured" players they weren't actually injured.

Right now I'd probably agree but do you honestly think anybody else could do better given the squad we have available? and if so who? It's a clusterfuck for sure, but I'd be inclined to stick than twist at the minute. I'd bet quite a few managers could get those available to function as a team, even Glenn Roeder bloody did it. Remember this bad run also started with most of the squad available. Aye. Someone who can, at the very least, motivate the players would get better results imo. Pardew has lost them and they're not coming back.

Well he still does most likely as we are not going to get someone of Ba's quality for under 10m but yeah the majority if this is true has been paid for by Ba's sale. They'll have been hoping we believed the "club only get half the fee" stuff. £7.5 million can buy you a very good striker if you're willing to spend it (on a striker).
-
The club/Pardew will be furious that's been revealed "He has to find the extra money for a striker, as we're not going to get one in for the Ba money"
-
You needed a book to tell you that? Hit the top corner and it's in.

The ST renewal forms get sent out in February so it's possible that Ash-o might do what he did in the last 2 January windows and sign an assuaging player. Assuming Debuchy isn't it, of course.

I won't be surprised at all if we were finished our business now. We don't look to be selling anyone of value so don't get your hopes up, broheims.

I still love you Demba.

Gosling plays higher up than Bigi and is the kind of player we've really needed all season, someone to be in the box or on the edge when the ball gets knocked down. Cabaye has done it a few times to great effect. That huge gap we leave between Ba/Shola and the halfway line is just begging the other team to attack us.

Considering the eight-year contract, our lot clearly believe they're cleverer than everyone else and that he'll turn things around given time. We'll see. I read somewhere that if he's sacked he'll only get a year's worth compensation. So that would be about 10 grand Isn't Pardew one of the lowest paid managers in the league? Got to take that into consideration when debating who else we could attract. It's supposed to be performance related so it'll have been a grim, grim Christmas in the Pardew household
-
If Mike and Des weren't so inconsistent there would be loads of managers after the job tbh. There's far more positives than negatives at the moment, though Pardew is trying his hardest to create more negatives.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paolo_Di_Canio#Manager It'd never work because of the people we're run by but I'd love to see him given a go.

I'm going to Norwich as well £45 Today felt like the first time this season the away fans weren't with the team/manager which is either a good thing or a bad thing depending on your view point. -
Has this been posted? "From Grim's final season... Souness - P24 W7 D5 L12 PTS 26 Pardew - P21 W5 D5 L11 PTS 20" It's time for Paolo... http://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/resources/images/1811832/?type=articleLandscape

Yet another complete waste of time and money. The only thing more infuriating that us throwing the game is that we didn't look that much different to most other weeks while doing it. -
Will any of our players go on to manage us one day?

He could get away with all the crap Pardew comes out with and none of us would mind "I have boarded up the training ground because I have no idea what I'm doing" http://www.africatopsports.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/yohan-cabaye_61275_w250.jpg "DON'T SACK CABAYE, YOHAN CABAYE!" http://www.thenational.ae/deployedfiles/Assets/Richmedia/Image/sp02no-Newcastle2.jpg -

Steven Taylor will definitely try management. -
I'm not so sure he has. If that's right, he has a heart the size of a pea. Same here. His very frequent displays of spinelessness made me hate him, not his huge lack of talent.

Demba Ba @dembabafoot Find the time to thanks what nufc has done for me. And also thanks the true fans that has supported me from day 1. I'll always remember you
