  1. Getting annoyed all over again at Simpson for that 3rd goal. Dreadful "defender".
  2. Is "needs to be behind Cisse" the next cliché?
  3. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20650106 "Liverpool were left stunned after their hopes of challenging for a top-four spot were hit by a loss to Aston Villa" http://www.reactiongifs.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/really.gif
  4. Ferguson's crossing was pretty awful in the 4 or 5 times he did it. There's no power in those little legs at all.
  5. We'd have had at least 1 more goal today if we were in any way competent at free kicks and corners. We seemed to have loads and their defending left a lot to be desired.
  6. I will allow myself one smug "I was right" Be smug. It's great for self confidence. http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,92469.msg3837701.html#msg3837701
  7. It's no surprise at all that he's looked a million times better when Krul isn't wasting possession with the long ball stuff. Really hope Cabaye won't just come straight back in for him. There's room for them both.

  9. He just stopped running ffs. Not the first time they got in on the left in the second half either but that's par for the course.
  10. He does have something to do with us as his team just beat Wigan and Sunderland who we're somehow in direct competition with.
  11. 6 in his last 7 in the league at SJP. No doubt he'll get more against QPR.
  12. Can't help but laugh at the bolded bit. They missed a f***ing hatful. We had more shots.
  13. Plenty of positives to take out of that. On another day we'd have beaten them but they took their chances and that's what happens when your team is worth £500 million. Williams' best game in a while too and Anita continues to get/look better. Krul not smashing it long makes all the difference.
  14. I haven't been so infuriated about a goal we've conceded in a long time. That 3rd goal was his fault and it completely killed both us and the game. The usual pointing and blaming after the goal made me want to smack him.
  15. I'm looking forward to this one more than any other this season. I can't guarantee it but we're definitely going to win or be close to winning. http://i.imgur.com/S0W6N.gif
  16. Training ground secrecy = drilled set piece to williamson at the near post Spoiler ffs.
  17. I had my first ever dream about him last night. He was injured and I told him to score 5 or 6 in the next match. He was smoking too btw. If anything happens tonight I'll let you know.
  18. He's had far more good/average games for us than bad games. I understand the criticism and want of a replacement but he's been a bargain all things considered and a credit to the club. When he scores tomorrow, it will be the most beautiful day of our lives. Our victory will taste better than any victory you or I have ever tasted.
  19. Blx. This thread is just an exercise in making something simple sound complicated. Wrapping up an aspect of play that supporters have instinctively understood since football began in language that makes it sound like some kind of new intellectual insight into how football is played. It's not that the views expressed are without merit and it is an interesting read, but at the end of the day it's just about how teams react when possession changes hands, and I'm sure you have watched enough games to understand what is going on in this respect as well as anybody.... even if you are a woman ;-) I do agree with this. Far too complicated a way to state that we're bad at counter attacking. That'll happen with such a slow team with no attacking threat in the middle of midfield. Over-complicating football is a pet hate I'm constantly fire fighting.
  20. Give over. You seem very easily embarrassed. Only at things that are embarrassing. It's probably just a coincidence that he said this on Monday... http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/newcastle-united/nufc-news/2012/12/10/united-fans-are-shut-out-of-toon-training-ground-72703-32394944/ Wow, I missed that. So the reason you're struggling is because other clubs can counter your tactics? Like, say, your set pieces? Sorry, I know it's a bit rude to . But, . We've all been laughing at it so don't feel guilty http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,92734.msg4074134.html#msg4074134

  22. If this is a "mind game" it's pretty embarrassing.
  23. If we assume Tiote will be playing DM then that's our 3 in the middle, just remains to be seen whether HBA makes it. If not I would hope for Marveaux out on the left if Cisse is going to be on the right of the front 3. I think i'd prefer Cisse out on the left though (if we're not going to play Ba there) so him and Marv can cut in like we did playing the 4-3-3 last season. Jonas was on the left. Forgot to add that to the post. Left of the front three? He was at the byline crossing the ball over for Ba so probably. Not that he'll get anywhere near the byline in the actual game
