To be fair, continually falling over is a tactic Chelsea can't defend against so he'd have done a good job today.

I can only guess but I would think most, if not all don't want a crisis and want us to win. Some people just want the drama. We can't have just lost to the European Champions who've spent £100 million after winning it. It MUST be the start of our downfall!

Our scouting network have found/signed far, far better players for far, far less money. I can only assume they've had little say in this deal as it's very unlike us to spend so much money on a player who has played badly for 18 months. How many of us even wanted him back before it became a possibility? If we'd offered £12million for him after we'd beaten them 2-0, Trim Mike would have been laughed out of town. He's not even worth thinking about. Don't know why, but Ranger is still probably ahead of him.

With the schedule we have this season they'll need to be rested fairly often and with Shola likely to get injured (as he is now) that gives us nothing upfront. Or at least nothing reliable. A backup striker is vital imo. Just an assumption but i had a feeling going into this season we would rest Ba or Cisse in some Europa Games. Both would play at the weekend as long as we play Thursday-Sunday but i could see one play and one not in Europe. I agree it's vital, but defence concerns me more. Also i'd play Perch above Simpson as well. If we had rested both yesterday who would have played upfront? Both Ameobi's are injured (runs in the family it seems) and Obertan...no. We're well stocked in defense though the quality may be lacking a bit.

Only a small handful of teams have had a genuine chance to break into "the top 4" in recent memory and we're currently one of them. Another top 6 finish would obviously be fantastic but why can't we try and do what we almost did last year? I really believe we could stay in the top 4-6 zone for many years if we were to push on in this and the next window.

Regardless of who they're buying, it's frustrating to see clubs much lower than us spending far more than we have. 2 or 3 strong acquisitions this summer would have given us the best chance at Champions league football in a decade. Falling behind because we're being "careful" is a very real prospect as it stands.

Can we stop this now? Pricks need to be told that they're pricks otherwise they continue to believe their cuntish behaviour is acceptable. If enough people tell them they're pricks then eventually they'll stop behaving like pricks. I meant the idea that the other players haven't seen anything like this before and will be horrified. They'll know as well as we (bar 1) know what happened and won't paint us all with the one brush.
