Tel looks a bit like Michael K Williams/Omar from The Wire.

After Bruno, surely?
-
That didn’t take long. That Spurs keeper started well in his first few games. Already looking shaky in this system the last few games. . Didn’t take long.
-
I mean. Kulusevski against Chelsea and Bruno against Arsenal last season got away with blatant ones. That just felt obvious what he was trying to do, the same as the Gordon one. Totally unnatural movement of his elbow.
-
Van Dijk will get pinged for violent conduct one of these days. Is he getting away with it as he does it to dislikable types (on the pitch for the neutral) like Gordon and Richarlison

That racingblogger is one of the biggest cunts going. Full of utter shit. Fake bets, a shill for the bookies, had a pay for tipping service at one point which of course was a load of bollocks and a con. Proper encourages irresponsible gambling and his content appeals to the masses/young people. So it's pretty dangerous and not sustainable to sustain any profit long term. I look forward to the day he gets trampled on by a horse. But this will have to do for now. I forgot he was an Arsenal fan.

Aye. Proper got me that. I was at that game and I was also lucky enough to meet Cheik after the Palace 1-0 under Rafa. He was dead sound and actually had a bit of a chat with us all, happy to do photos etc.

It looked like it. Odegaard looked thoroughly fed up with the rough house treatment he was receiving at the hands of our Italian enforcer.

Hahahaha. Outrageous. I suppose there might be some truth to it if other footballing sides have been struggling up here for years. But I wonder how many absolute hidings and proper beatdowns we have taken since the Wenger days? From top teams and teams that zing it about on the deck. Well, and everyone else, for that matter. What absolute nonsense

Yes. The mixed race Trippier is racist against black people
-
Yeah. I said similar in this thread or somewhere else about Miley. I’d still rather that against someone like Forest than playing Burn at left back v Elanga.
-
Hope that Willock plays himself into something resembling form on Saturday. Same/similar team and system as last night at City. Willock/Miley against Forest. The pray he is back for Liverpool….. Or back to the back 5/3-4 set up.
-
“I THINK THERE’S BEEN A RAPE UP THERE!” There was, TBF. Trippier on Trossard.

Through a mate’s uncle last time. He got it as some kind of benefit involved with his bonus from work. So massively reduced. Was meant to be 1500-2000 I think.

Try and score a ticket through my usual channels. Not sure I want to pay the discounted rate of circa £500-600 again for Club Wembley. If not, I’m considering coming up to Newcastle to watch it. The missus can see her Aunty and nieces in Whitley Bay. I can go out on the smash all day with her Aunty’s fella who is an NUFC fan. Loads of Spurs and Liverpool round here. Would be too painful if we lose.

Not for me. I don’t think Hall has the athleticism to play that role and the covering required. Especially if it is Burn at left back. I thought at times last night when he was coming inside. He didn’t have the legs to then slot back into the LB role off the ball ala Joelinton/Anderson when they played in a similar’ish role. I also just don’t want to see Burn again at left back if we can avoid it. He has been great at CB. He was mainly poor at left back all of last season. I think last night’s formation gives us another option against the big teams or those that want a lot of the ball and we can press high. But then also drop off and sit in deep. Obviously it won’t be so unexpected and in time. There will be more film to study of it. But you’d like to also think we’ll improve for playing it more and also have different personnel to bring in. Like Tino and Big Joe.

Get him to do a Lascelles on the sideline and get a yellow without even coming on Usually until April time for the 10 yellows. Guessing it is roughly 3/4 of the season. Not sure on the exact number of games.
-
Someone needs to step up in his absence. As I’m still not convinced we have anyone able to cover his LCM role. Willock so out of form it’s untrue. Longstaff is poor there and I’m not a fan. Miley is still a kid. But it does feel like he deserves a chance now. I guess we were going to rotate this weekend regardless. I also think the sort of 5 at the back will be used against City. But it won’t work against Forest. So it would be good if someone could step up and really shine in midfield in Joe’s place.

Well travelled around mainly the south of the country accent? Fuck knows. His parents are from the NE, his Mam definitely is. I think he was brought up not that far from me. As I believe his parents used to own or at least run an American Diner on the A10 called Arbuckles. Out the other side of Ely and on the way out into the sticks in East Anglia. He definitely doesn’t sound as fen as the carrot crunchers out there. He’s sort of quite well spoken but has hard A’s at times. So not like the generic southern accent that could be from anywhere within a 2 hour radius down this way

Gabriel goes from one of the biggest gobshites and most aggressive players in the league. To looking like a scared little boy against Isak. As for Saliba, well. Redknapp stole my American Football Quarterback (Sam Darnold) analogy that I used for these two after the first leg. “It’s like he’s seeing ghosts out there/it’s like he’s seen a ghost.” He looks so shaky and unsure of himself on and off the ball compared to usual. Baring in mind this is one of the tightest CB pairings in the league and best in the world. Who regularly do a quality job of controlling Haaland and bossing him physically, even. Three games this season: Goal after finding space between them for a bullet header. Goal after pulling off and finding space where they’re not from a free kick. Shot that was saved and led to a goal. Goal ruled off because of a gnat’s cock offside. Hit the post after rinsing Saliba and it led to a goal. MOTM in at least 2/3 games and ran them ragged all night. If we win the 4th game to nil and he gives them the runaround again. I might die from smiling too hard
-
So he’s missing those 3 big games we need him in due to injury. Not a couple of them because of his expected yellow card ban. Hope he’s back soon. Not sure that system will work every week and we don’t really have anyone else to play LCM. Willock is horribly out of form.
-
I would imagine and hope it is. Of course it could be the other knee. But it has been sensitive as fuck in my knee ever since various ops. Always paranoid that a slight tweak or sprain means it’s gone again and all. Mings took a lot longer to come back from his. The other week everyone thought his ACL had gone again and he himself looked like he thought the same. Sounds as if it’s pretty minor.

Oooh. Arteta hates this woman asking him tough questions. LOOOOOLLLLLLL.
