Not sure I’d go that far with my stake. But I don’t think a one goal lead to take to Anfield is enough for Spurs.
-
I thought he seemed off in real time and also on the first look at it. But it is a farce that it takes so long and it’s always based on dodgy camera angles and shit quality.
-
Not quite the same as the NFL need to get the hand signals involved.
-
Offside. Video footage from a Nokia 3310.
-
Surely fucking not? Genuinely worried one of his legs might fall off.
-
He does some great analysis pieces like this. But he’s always painfully unfunny and annoying. Beats Wallcott and Redknapp, I suppose
-
Spurs games are crap when they actually defend well and don’t go full house and send everyone forward
-
Carrying on from the other day when we were talking about keepers and their questionable heights. This new Spurs keeper does not look 6 3”? Seems tiny in the goal.

Martin Dúbravka (now playing for Burnley)

People should stop reading into Howe’s comments in the media regarding players, injuries, lineups, transfers etc. Remember when Barnes was doing his medical and he denied knowing anything about the deal being close or complete?! He’d be a great poker player -
Did he? I thought it was Willock, Botman and Isak? In that case rest him and play one of the kids.

I'd play Murphy. He regularly just plays 60 minutes. I'm not sure we're going to change the entire XI, either. Have Sanusi on the bench. As he was showing glimpses in pre-season. No idea what he's been like for the U21's since.
-
I don't even see the point in playing Almiron. He has been that bad the last few appearances and is clearly no longer part of our plans. Along with any possibility of injury. It seems a bit of a waste.
-
He looked horrendous against Arsenal, I thought. But that is only one game.
-
PSG signing him but wanted to save on the private jet and chauffeur?

As I have said over and over again and I haven't really heard or seen it discussed. Does intent even need to come into it here? It's reckless and 'out of control', no? Two that come straight to mind. Probably because they were involving Liverpool in big games, so the media went on about it for weeks after. Mane when he got sent off against City for accidentally catching Ederson in the head. Jones away at Spurs last season in THAT game when Diaz got ruled offside when he was on by about 5 yards. Neither were deliberate acts. But both dangerous and serious foul play. Which I think this one fell under and not violent conduct. The fact he quite clearly tries to do Schar is actually irrelevant, no? Still not having he didn't mean it, nobody knows, it's accidental etc. Barely ever happens in games. Players are always hurdling out the way or avoiding treading on people. Can't remember the last time I saw something like this. You're telling me an elite sportsman, that must have an outrageous reaction time can't avoid stamping/treading on a player (twice) after three steps beforehand. Absolute nonsense.
-
He rolls his left ankle by reaching with his left leg to land on Schar. Then when he successfully stamps on him, his ankle rolls.

I had the misfortune of hearing him on Talksport once. He was like a poundshop Jordan. Seemed to spend the 10-15 minute segment between the adverts waffling on about nothing relevant and shoehorning in big/buzz words to make him seem like he had a clue. To then finally get to his very basic point that should have taken a minute or two to explain. I quite like that social media types, with high level analysis are now starting to get a voice and a platform in mainstream media. Especially considering how bad a lot of the ex-pros are. But cunts like this can go and boil their head as far as I'm concerned.

My mate took his Grandkids to the PSG game. 500 mile round trip. They just told the school in the end and got away with it. As one of them kept going on about it all the while for weeks before

You seem very passionate about adding up, Abacus.

The Sterling at Man City run. I don't mean cutting about the pitch like Velma from Scooby Doo. But that late back post run and gambling on stuff like last night.
-
I don't want to overreact. But if that Rory fella was drowning. I'd throw him a bag of cement.
-
Yeah, I suppose it is more his passing. He is great driving forward with the ball and trying to crash the box or run into the channels. Which those stats kind of back up.
-
Solid in the air, doesn't mind showing the winger the line as he has a great turn of pace, full of running all game. Most impressive for me is how he tracks the ball and rarely seems to get stuck under it or let his man run off him. He'd make a great cornerback There were some times earlier in the season I thought he seemed to lose concentration a few times and he did look a bit flustered under pressure on the ball the last two games. But the back 4 is quite well balanced now, with having Hall the other side as the ball player and Tino as the runner.
