  1. Still not used to how small Angel Gomes is. Looks like they’ve let a ballboy join in for a laugh because it’s so one sided.
  2. He is so talented. Last game and this some of the stuff he has pulled off has been ridiculous. Just something not quite right? He may well be a nice bloke. But seems like a tosser on the pitch and a bit sulky. Slows our play down at times and seems keen to do it all on his own.
  3. I think Hall and Tino have been good. Well, Tino’s defending has been top. Not so great on the ball. But that isn’t really his hame. Hall has been quality all round. From memory. Gordon was quality away to these. But I’m not sure I’ve seen him have a good game for England, otherwise?
  4. Kane has been atrocious. Walker’s limitations as a footballer are getting more exposed at centre half in a game like this. He is so bad on the ball.
  5. Kane was never quick. But fuck me. How slow did he look going after that ball from Bellingham earlier. Legs totally gone and has resorted to dropping deep and getting in the way, again.

    Joelinton

https://www.instagram.com/reel/DCcU1kMMSym/?igsh=MW4wdHdwbWV1dGk2eQ== Nobody is surprised by basically everyone replying ‘Joelinton’ Lascelles would be the best in a scrap I reckon. I would have said Wilson and all. But he’d probably break his left hand off a jab, then dislocate his shoulder throwing a right.
  7. Refs are massively underpaid. Not sure how it is even a discussion.
  8. Strange decision for Kane to take to the field in rigger boots.
  9. Greasy hair and always looks surprised or on the verge of tears?
  10. Great finish. But what a terrible attempt at a save from Vlach.

    Lewis Hall

So good at creating a yard for himself. Can be risky, but instead of rushing a pass or clearance or yet again passing back inside and/or backwards. He’ll just burst into a pocket of space and work room to then make a positive pass. Noticed it twice tonight and does it a lot for us.
  12. Yeah. Defo a bit of Bond villain about him. Could also be one of the many blokes Neeson beats up in Taken.
  13. Since he has moved inside. He has tried two diagonals and they’ve been more like an up and under in Rugby. Great career and a quality defender. But fuck me is he shite on the ball. Watkins is noticeably bad with his touch and link up play and all. But he still gets loads of goals and assists.
  14. His passing is noticeably good. Often finds someone between the lines and not just sideaways and backwards like most of the team.
  15. Watkins Started and ended the half well. Uninspiring stuff, otherwise.
  16. Is that Lee Dixon on co-comms?! Oh for fu….
  17. It is, really. But quite a few missing, no? Top of my head. Saka, Rice, Palmer, Kane, Stones, Foden, Shaw, (LOL) all out. Most of them would start in our strongest XI. When Palmer is fit, he has to play the 10, for me. Sounds mad to say it when he has had success there for England and in a slightly different role for Madrid. But I don't like Bellingham there. Always feels like he gets in the way.
  18. Ever since the first vid came out. All I can think of is that Peep Show bit:
  19. Of course, they're an Arsenal fan Probably done a 100 Tweet thread about how PGMOL fixed it so that they didn't win the league.
  20. Is he getting slagged off? Or are people just rightly pointing out he hasn't been anywhere near as effective as last season or playing at the same levels? I thought he was great against Arsenal. Poor by his standards against Forest. Seems like he has a bit of a nagging injury and until recently, the team has been below par. So that would go some way to explaining it.
  21. Not watched it since it was first released. Still hits as hard the second time. So well done.
  22. It’s not the NFL franchise, FFS. I’m 100% club before country and I wasn’t even born in the North East and only have ties on one side of the family. I’d rather we won the League Cup than England won the World Cup. Internationals have become so diluted and there are too many meaningless, pointless games. I understand why players drop out if they’ve got niggly, nagging injuries and want to focus on playing football for the club that pay their wages and for the fans that support them every week. Maybe that last part only rings true for a small percentage of players
  23. I reckon Gordon plays. But might even go Joelinton right and Barnes left. Joelinton played on the right for a good hour against Forest, didn't he? I'm sure they switched midway through the first half and he started the second half out there. You'd obviously lose the Joe combo. But you'd have a much better and more effective player on the pitch in Barnes.
  24. Reading this and then clocking that pic FFS Saville on the rampage like some sort of Massive Noncezilla, destroying skyscrapers left and right whilst roaring "how's about that then".
