That’s why Burn plays. Pathetic from Kelly. We are wank in the final third. Playing alright otherwise.

Nervous now. Might back West Ham and the draw. My bets are so bad. They could stop the war in Ukraine.

Had my ST up in L7 that season. I remember there was the most aggro bloke in the world in my row. Always saying abhorrent shit about refs. Arguing with the away fans to the brink combusting. Anyway, Start of the game “may as well play with 10 instead of starting Leon Best. Shite.” After his hat trick, without a hint of irony, turned to his mate and said “Well I’ve always said that Besty’s a great player.” Then started waxing lyrical about what made him so good

I seem to have it in my head we are good after an international break under Howe? Any of the stattos on here got data to back that up?

It all annoys me. The ramblings of a madman at the start of the game and when someone scores. The shouting like a FIFA commentator whenever someone shoots like you’ve referenced. Even when it’s clearly not going in. Probably his worst offence is his ‘and Nunez and Diaz and Robertson AAAAND Salah’ when players are passing it about. So annoying.

Trippier in the squad based on his Instagram. Suddenly seems like we have some decent attacking options to change the game from the bench. With Barnes, Tonali, Trippier and to a lesser extent. Murphy and Osula.

Found the commentary a bit odd all first half. It was like they were taking the piss and being sarcastic about him all the while. Poor old boy. He’s crocked now and all.

Recently became an England regular. He cost a relatively large fee at the time for someone of his age when he moved to Palace. Palace captain. Their fans have raved about him for a good while. Linked with big moves regularly. Very similar to Michael Ricketts in lots of ways.
-
Nah. He makes us tick, our captain, our talisman. They are usually straight on the plane back after international games no? He played Tuesday night, well early hours Wednesday our time. We don’t play until Monday night. He’s come back and been fine after international breaks with a shorter turnaround. He’ll start IMO. Rightly so.

I know he will probably still contribute with goals here and there off the bench. But at this point, I'd rather we just went more in on developing Osula to see if he has anything. As Wilson has no future here and doesn't stay fit for more than a few games at a time if you're lucky.
-
Sounds like he's still not trained and West Ham might come too soon. I have to say. I'm quite shocked by this news........

I was on about Gyokeres. You'd imagine if he keeps on, he'll have every top club in Europe after him. Kolo Muani, who knows.
-
Yeah. Not a chance he’d come here or that we could afford him.
-
He looks so awkward, bless him. He also looks like someone you’d see knocking about outside the front of Costcutter asking if you’ve got any change. Although he is wearing a jacket I can’t afford

Itchy collar. Shield on the back meaning you kind of needed a name and number or it looked odd. I had it. But was never a big fan. I liked the away kit that got panned that year. Was that the one we never won in? Blue, green and orange.

Not been in any of the videos or pics of them training yet, has he? Perhaps it is more the drills and ball work with the team? Not actually joining in with the games. From personal experience. Contact stuff, change of direction, jumping etc. That all takes time. Getting back to fitness, straight lines, controlled sessions in the gym or for sport seemed to come quite quickly. But that final hurdle seemed quite far away. It genuinely is like learning to walk again in a way!
-
Judging by a few on here. They’d rather burn him at the stake.

Bar the Greece debacle. The football has genuinely been decent, the team looks more balanced and some actual decent passing moves. I have enjoyed seeing new faces get a chance, plenty have been forced upon him, mind. But the team has still seemed more connected as a unit than under Southgate. I like that youngsters and less fashionable names have got a chance. Jones was fantastic the last two games for example. Gallagher was also very good Last night. Probably biased as Gordon has always featured, then Hall and Tino. But I have rarely bothered with England games outside of the summer tournaments for 10 years or more. I actually paid an interest to the games under Carsley.

Should have won the Derby. Mag Kernt.

Thought he looked quality on the ball in both games. Defensively he is pretty solid and great at sweeping. He would certainly add some much needed pace in the middle. He was noticeably bad in the air and he did get ragdolled by Ferguson when he could have possibly given a penalty away. But I still think he would be a good signing. I'm just not sure we'd be interested at what would still be an over-inflated price in January and probably a decent enough price at the end of the season. That plenty of others will get involved.
