  1. Oh my Good Fucking Lord. I have just seen The Ev score those seagulls will be charged up tonight
  2. I find Arsenal pretty dull to watch nowadays. They used to be the best team to watch as a neutral for years, I think. Still, effective for them and I doubt their fans give a fuck when they’re doing so well.
  3. This monstrosity and Ramsdale dressed as Hagrid for his signing photo. Weird fuckers.
  4. Why should it be mutually exclusive? I mean I also have issues with the Saudi ownership. I thought it was wank that we had a friendly here for their national team and I think it would be a bit shit if we suddenly hosted the Crown Prince for some PR piece, for example. The same way I think this is shit. The club is being used as a vehicle to promote Robert Generic Jenrick’s leadership bid. All courtesy of Hall and allegedly without the club knowing. You genuinely don’t see an issue with this? In the North East in a predominantly and historically labour area. A Tory MP with designs on being leader of the opposition swanning around SJP for a photo op and some PR. All whilst the club ‘didn’t know about it.’ Or are you just being facetious even if you don’t give a fuck personally. Oh and so fuck of he’s Reform now?! Just semantics anyway and two cheeks of the same arse. They’re the right arse cheek, if you like and just an extension and extreme wing of the Tory party. Hr seems pretty in bed with him here and happy to assist him with his con leadership bid. So I can’t have an issue with this because we have morally reprehensible owners? I don’t think the club or ground should be used to promote politics or religion one way or the other and favouring certain sides. That’s all there is to it.
  5. They’ve signed loads of players, TBF.
  6. I’d be happy with this and would have been before the shambles of the last few days or so. I think his pace and being able to offer a genuine threat opposite Gordon and next to Isak will open up so much space. I’m sure it won’t happen. As it all seems a bit last minute and rushed. But I’d like it to happen.
  7. I read that in my head in a Donald Trump voice
  8. I guess they might be expecting it and all. But wasn’t it Krafth right side of the 3 last season? So the same again with Burn and Kelly is possible if we wanted to go down that route.
  9. But then if we are struggling with our wage bill against turnover already and we suddenly start paying all our current top players £150k a week plus and new signings similar. Then how does that work? I would have liked us to get Tosin. Even using hindsight. Do I think we should have broken our wage structure and paid him wages well above his ability? No.
  10. Would have also probably made him the highest earning player at the club behind Bruno. So I'm sure that would have totally broken our wage bill structure.
  11. Will they be telling him to remove the video then…..
  12. I know Reuben is a massive Tory donor and John Hall is also a Tory. But still….
  13. Really not sure what to think here. On the one hand, I think the way they play could really expose our fairly slow and currently average looking back 4. Their pace and how many players they commit forward could kill us, as the midfield often seems to get overrun and exposed. But then last season we had a bit of a make shift back 4 and had decent players missing, yet we still obliterated them. Constantly killing them on the counter. Tonali starting or playing a meaningful amount of minutes would be huge to get them turned round on the counter regularly. Along with starting Gordon-Isak-Barnes in a front 3. I think my biggest concern would be the right hand side being Tino, Krafth, Longstaff and Murphy. As none of them are particularly good with their passing and there is just a huge lack of quality down that whole half of the pitch. It was shambolic against Bournemouth. Trippier and/or Tonali starting would make a massive difference in how we progress the ball.

I'm not a pro-sportsman (obviously). I never had the makings of a varsity athlete. However, I've played various sports in my time and had numerous injuries and I feel there may be some truth in what you say. Coming back from knee ops, every little tweak gets you thinking it might have gone again or that you need to come off. Then it's fine minutes or even seconds later. The same when I came back from a hamstring tear. Any tightness would have you paranoid as fuck. But after a while, you realise it's nothing to worry about. For someone as explosive and rapid as Little Joe. I'm sure his muscles are under some serious stress and tension when he plays. Hopefully just a minor tweak and a niggle. Fingers crossed, as I love him as a player and he seems a lovely chap to boot.
  15. Sorry. I really need to do smileys more often I was saying it will be cleared, I reckon. Oh and yeah. That Savinho musical clubs fiasco was hilariously blatant. The wankers. Relegate them to the Conference at once.
  16. Checked and cleared. The fact that every club, ourselves included. Are having to pull accounting tricks and trade players in shady as fuck looking deals. Just highlights the complete nonsense that is PSR/FFP in its current guise.
  17. We need a bit of this. If we could just sell some of our own buildings and assets back to ourselves too. Then we could avoid further PSR breaches.
  18. Pope could play sweeper and Trafford in goal. Solves our CB issue. Would just be the worst ball playing CB we’ve had since Iron Mike.

Do other clubs release official explanations for bad transfer windows or any potential internal power struggles? Could it not just be that the money available was to be invested for a long term, transformative CB signing and they are happy to go with the RW options for now (I wouldn’t be FWIW). As oppoosed to splitting it across two players who are not really at that elite level or with potential to be. I’m sure even when Ashworth was here they made a big point about waiting for the right player. Not just buying/loaning a player for a certain position. How do we know they haven’t gone through lists of players, enquired, been turned down, turned off by the price etc. Thus ending up with a fairly small pool of players to choose from. We’ve done plenty of business since the takeover without reporting on it every 5 minutes. The local journos have shown time and again to not have a clue with transfer dealings, for example. Fairly unsatisfactory that we have exhausted any list we may have had by the looks of it and ended up with Guehi as the number one which now isn’t happening. I’ll agree there. I just guess everyone hanging on that cunt Hope’s every word and just being desperate to use that to further strengthen their already negative, miserable view on the club. Is what I’ve got an issue with.

Some posters have fully lost their heads this last week or two. Suddenly believing journos and their speculative, often vague pieces and taking them as gospel. Then having a meltdown off the back of it.
  21. Just speaking the truth, saying it how it is, FACTS….. Usually anything but. More likely to be a shit take or a misinformed OPINION.
  22. Made me chuckle. Reminded me of this place
  23. Just seen the ‘no time to divert funds’ line Can only be used on certain positions. Depending which account it’s in. Should have moved it 2-3 working days ago to the forwards account. Yet another misstep by Mitchell.
  24. What is best for the club from now then?
