  1. Is there footage anywhere? Has it been clipped up yet? Would love to see/hear that
  2. I don’t think xG is as important as some. But I think you are massively misunderstanding what it actually is and what point Sibierski is making here?
  3. “DAN’S A FANTASTIC MAN. HE REALLY IS!”
  4. Had the Football Daily on this morning and they had a Bournemouth podcast host on. He said Iraola is a better coach/manager than Howe and basically all Bournemouth fans would agree? Is that being incredibly harsh and loaded with recency bias? I know he has them playing some outrageously good stuff and certainly punching above their weight. He has also got the better of Howe in most of their meetings so far and they've played the better stuff. Small sample size and mitigating circumstances in at least one of those games. But then are they also not a more established club at this level now and their scouting has developed massively over time? They're spending decent money for a club of their size. But certainly investing it wisely. Who is one of the main people they have to thank for getting them to such a strong position in the first place.....? I know Brighton have come back from the brink and I'm sure I have missed clubs from history that have done something similar. But I can't think of a manager that has taken a club from -17 in League Two. All the way through to the Premier League and then staying there for 5 seasons. I'd also add that whilst they are flying at the minute. Has it not been proven over time that styles and systems get found out and teams and coaches need to keep evolving. He's not had to do that too much yet, has he? Might be totally wrong on that, mind. We have certainly found that out under Howe and he has tweaked things over the years with varying degrees of success. But he has changed formation, tactics, style etc etc and has proven he can adapt. Even if he has taken longer than fans (including myself) were expecting some of the time. I thought it was interesting, anyway. As whilst there isn't a lot of competition. There has been a lot of talk on here about Howe being our best manager in the modern/Premier League era. But apparently Bournemouth fans don't think he is theirs?
  5. I bet Villa fans will now admit Duran was rightfully sent off against us I mean. Going to Saudi when you’re 21 and you have that much talent proves you’re a bit mad.
  6. Agree on Kelly. Like I have said in this thread. I’m not even much of a fan of Longstaff. But him leaving could leave us light in midfield. Willock isn’t back to anything like his usual self and has had loads of injury issues. Miley is still a kid.
  7. So do City play Madrid or Bayern? Or is it done as a draw and they’ll get one or the other?
  8. There are people out there that say this format is better and fairer. With games having more riding on them
  9. Morgan Rogers is a class player. But he comes across as a massive bellend. Never noticed it until our game where he was brilliant. But also cheating and pissing and moaning at every opportunity.
  10. Or an Atalanta winner……
  11. Totally guessing. But I wonder if we have our eye on someone this window? But we need Almiron and one of Kelly or Longstaff to be moved on for us to get him in and comply with the PSR bullshit. I can’t imagine we would be looking to shift all 3 this window. But you never know.
  12. I wasn’t thinking about the coefficient thingy. Although that is relevant. I just thought the CL play offs were the week before and after our game against City? So it would mean they’re burnt out and/or would maybe rotate more than usual.
  13. It’s hilarious. But wouldn’t City getting through help us? Massive CL two leg play off with our game inbetween the home and away leg?
  14. Seems mad that he’s going there at his age. Fair enough the money is insane. But it is at Villa and it would be somewhere like PSG and all. What is he, 21?! Mental.
  15. Was it the maniacal laugh?!
  16. Yeah. Can’t imagine he’d be worth much in the summer? I find it really hard to gauge what he is worth. As I am terrible at knowing what the going rate is these days and all transfers sound stupidly expensive to me. Like I haven’t adjusted from 2005 My view is perhaps somewhat skewed. As I don’t particularly rate him. But even then, you look at what other players have gone for. £12m does seem low. Especially when you factor in the amount of minutes he has had at this level, recently playing regularly for a team that finished 4th and 7th, CL games, PL goals etc. I also feel like we have outgrown him. To the point where recently, he seems to have fallen behind Miley and Willock in the pecking order and is now 6th choice CM. Albeit that is based on a very small sample size. Not to say his skillset wouldn’t be of more use elsewhere. I think he’d be a great fit for how Everton play. But I can already hear the Everton seagulls booing. If people think our fans are toxic at times towards him. Then imagine what they’ll be like when he decides to dive instead of making a decision or when he passes straight to the opposition for the second or third time in quick succession
  17. Talksport reporting they’re unhappy with the timing of Arsenal’s bid and that they rejected it straight away. But you know. Talksport…..
  18. Probably already been posted. But worth another look. Come for the Isak highlights. Stay for the nursery rhyme version of Kanye West - Stronger.
  19. Do TNT still do the goals show? Couldn’t find it last week.
  20. NFL is lethal. Tailgate first, then get in the ground and just get tanked up for 3.5 hours. Although I think you get restricted to one beer per person from the 3rd quarter and no beers in the 4th quarter. The damage has already been done
  21. Between this clown, Baldwards, No Hope, Cringe Caulkin and Mr Charisma (Waugh). We're not really spoilt for choice with our local journos, are we? I don't actually mind Waugh, TBF. He just seems a bit wet.
  22. Read something online that apparently he mentioned the studs and achilles to the VAR team. Which is why they would not entertain overturning it. But not sure how anyone will have heard the audio already?
  23. Michael Brown and Hutchison on 5Live were advocating for an ex-pro always being present in the VAR room. As they would be able to say very quickly whether the player has ‘gone in to do him’ or not. They then went on to say neither of them know the rules. But it’s not about that and it wouldn’t be what they’re there for. I’ve often thought about the merits of having ex-pros involved more in some capacity. But this was probably the worst put forward argument I’ve heard. Makes me think they should be kept well away Also. I don’t think Lewis-Skelly has gone TO DO HIM. But he has and you can easily argue the reckless/endangering an opponent bit. So then their whole stupid argument falls down.
  24. Hopefully Sky catch him on camera in the stands laughing as we score our 3rd. Let me dream
