But, but.... Colback plays better with Shelvey. Based on f*** all, I will provide no examples of this or my reasoning. He just is. These stats are misleading Stick to American Football mate. You have a better understanding of that That's debatable TBH I mean, I'm still waiting on you to answer Tron and the numerous people asking about why you think Colback is the better option to play next to Shelvey? But you either conveniently ignore them or just don't even know yourself. Thought the whole point of a forum is to engage into debate? Not just say "well I think he's better. End of."

How did that slip through the net? Fucking hell, if he makes it to Christmas it'll be Rogue One and Vader references all the way. Ironic that most Newcastle fans would say that he is the ultimate dementor. If that's even a real quote and we're not being whoshed here http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/funny_old_game/4917960.stm From what I saw of him during his time here and the hilarious GIF's. That sounds about right for him

Sorry, I can't help but laugh at that. It's like something you'd hear on Phoenix Nights. Classic. My exact thoughts when I read it You know, I should be fuming reading shit like this. But I actually find it funny how clueless and misinformed he is. As for darts beign played by 'proper men' Saying it as if they're all hard bastards. Most would probably have a heart attack if they got into a fight that lasted longer than 20 seconds. Oh and Huss, sorry to read about what you have been through.

Yes Alan, of course it is. And why is it you haven't managed any top clubs?
-
Despite the fact Colback wasn't available for selection on Saturday and Benitez regularly rotates the two. I mean apart from that, it's clear

Superb Reading that back in Bane's voice and it works so well

Yeah. His inability to head the ball, his shit ball control and lack of physicality for a man of his size, will really help Spurs in the middle of the park

On a Spurs forum there were a few posts about how this was a Levy signing and not a Pochettino one. No idea what that's based on, but if true it might explain the lack of conviction in Moussa's abilities as this is still relatively early for a manager to be writing his own signing off. From the outside it does smack of a manager not happy with a player signed by the Board (and it may not have been against his wishes, i.e. Pochettino might have just trusted Levy and the scouts had done their homework and so didn't mind money being spent on a last minute backup target since it's better than nothing). Doesn't Levy or the board usually make the decisions at Spurs? Or did they scrap that model? I know a lot of Spurs fans and to a man, they almost all seem to dislike Levy and his transfer dealings.

Gets a bit bi-polar on here after a loss. The player threads are always a good laugh to read through The general consensus on players seems to change drastically on an almost weekly basis.

Shelvey clearly plays better alongside Colback, that much is obvious. Our results are better with Colback in the team ahead of Hayden. When both players are fit Rafa has tended to prefer Colback to Hayden. I tend to agree with him, and not you on this occasion mind. Should we go up I think we could get decent money for Colback from one of the 3 relegated teams. To people that have been to the majority of games this season. Would you care to elaborate on this? As from the 7-8 games I have seen, it clearly isn't fucking clear and obvious and it seems like a throwaway comment. It didn't seem like that long ago that there were quite a few people saying Colback didn't have the physical attributes to make up for Shelvey's immobility and laziness, and that Hayden was the better foil for him. Now, it is obvious he plays better with Colback? Based on what, exactly? Recent memory of Colback not being utter shit vs Leeds and actually playing alright and Hayden playing poorly on Saturday? Also, with all the rotation going on. I fail to see how you've reached the conclusion Rafa prefers him? Shelvey and until recently, Lascelles. Seem to be the only mainstays. Everyone else is in and out the team.

I'm pretty sure those things don't really exist. I dunno. We kept hearing it from Craig Hope about McClaren, who was pretty accurate with his NUFC reporting all of last season. It dragged on and on until it was too late. I'm hoping it will be the same for Pardew
-
It seems like it was only a few weeks ago, where people were saying the opposite. I haven't seen every game this season. But from what I have seen, Hayden has been better than Colback and I find this clamour from some to start him, a bit odd.

Cambridge United even sing a version of it Had a row with some bellend at work about it, as he was singing said shit version. I said it was NUFC's song and he wouldn't accept it for ages. Prick.

Absolutely spot on. Fantastic place this. It's great that Vlad is able to share. Really brave putting it out there. Best place online for me, love this place! Aint it just! Makes me laugh on a daily basis, there are some really knowledgable people on here and have even used it for things like holiday and Newcastle restaurant advice. Thanks again for all the kind words. Really glad I decided to share. Bit of a spontaneous decision TBH, but pleased I went with it!

Think they'll be spawny as fuck and fluke a 0-0 or nick a goal and sit everyone deep for 90 mins. 5-0 loss would be nice, though and I am awful at predicting games.

I'm fucking touched by all the messages. Don't really know anyone on here, but I feel like I do and it is really nice reading all of this.

Thanks lads and lasses. It's good to talk

Glad things like this have come to light. It's fucking sickening, TBH. But it needs to get highlighted. I was abused by a so called 'family friend' when I was younger and only told the missus about 5 years ago and my Mam earlier this year. It really is hard to put it into words when trying to explain it. You feel guilty and ashamed of yourself and for years, I just buried it in the back of my mind. Can't imagine what it is like for people that have suffered far worse and for those that have to come out and speak to the public to raise awareness. It is a terrifying thought, for me. So I have ended up just announcing it on here instead. Solid logic Fuck it. I am seeing this stuff in the media all the while and I watched Spotlight earlier this year and decided I have had enough of keeping it bottled up. Feels good to get it off my chest.

This thread is far too balanced and reasonable. What we need, is to hear your views on religion

Really? Terrible odds

Wilson's point about yelling at the TV is an interesting one. I used to be guilty of getting far too carried away during games. But on Sunday, I wasn't even that arsed when we scored. I think and hope, that it is more to do with getting used to winning at this level. Not because I have lost my love for the club, after years of not caring and even actively wanting us to lose.
-
Fully agree with the bit in bold. I do often wonder how much of it is to do with getting so pissed off with football over the last few years and how much of it is down to just getting older. I don't really get the urge to go once or twice a month and spend my whole weekend and half my week's wages, on a trip up to the North East. Definitely enjoying it again and love the positivity surrounding the club. It's been a long time since it has been like that, with everyone seemingly pulling in the same direction.

Didn't there used to be an away season ticket scheme or don't some clubs have a similar set up?
