Thanks Steve. Shame I wasn't brave enough to stick another fiver or so on. Still, happy with the £85 returns

Arguably too little too late in appointing him. But fuck me, the mongs on there. Most saying they wouldn't want him at SAFC, Allardyce is a better manager, not used to relegation scraps etc etc. The bitterness is oozing out of them. Rattled marra

Arsenal fans have every right to be wanting Wenger's head. He's got £150m in the bank and refuses to spend it. All about expectations and what you're used to. My old man is an Arsenal fan and I know a fair few who go regularly. Quite a few want him gone. He's won the FA Cup the last two seasons. But apart from that, they've won fuck all in the last decade, haven't they? Finishing top 4 every year and then getting dumped out of the CL, by the first decent team you play. Would be great for us. Sure beats a relegation scrap every year. But for a team like Arsenal, that are constantly up there and have world class players. It must be infuriating. By all accounts. Wenger is so stubborn, he won't spend, even when it's obvious he needs to. Plus, you hear stories that he's on a huge contract and he's happy to just keep making money for the shareholders. It's not even like they have to go to Man City levels. They just need to strengthen in the right areas. Instead of trying to get by with a squad of 14 players that are just about good enough. Part of me thinks it's amazing what Wenger has done. He's competing every year, without spending obscene amounts on players. All whilst playing great football. But if I were a fan, I'd get pretty fed up with his reluctance to spend when required and his teams always bottling it and falling at the last hurdle.

I don't have much faith in our medical staff, either. I don't have much faith in anyone at the club, TBH
-
Im not saying he's faked it, I'm suggesting its more not playing through a slight injury for the sake of the clubs PL battle. Well, it all depends. If our physio, would be asking or clearing a player, who relies mainly on speed, to play through a hamstring injury. Then I'd be pretty fucking concerned. It sounds as if Alli has been playing through knocks at Spurs. I think he has knee and ankle injuries. But every case is different and I'm certainly not a medical expert, on sporting injuries. I definitely think there are players, past and present (Owen, Marcelino) that have either faked injuries or massively exaggerated them. But at the same time, I don't get the logic of some people saying professional athletes should be playing through injuries. It's not quite the same as playing Sunday league. Where 5-10%, isn't going to make a huge difference. It worked against us we played Mbemba against Everton, despite him being injured. Colo looked even more immobile, when he played through his knee injury earlier in the season. It can be to the detriment of the team. Plus, if we played Townsend through a slight hamstring strain and then he tore it and was out for months. We'd all rightly be fucked off.

I just don't understand why he is still turning up, or why they don't just sack him? He needs to go, whether we get Rafa or not. No point in this whole dead man walking routine. Just sack the cunt.
-
So if Rafa doesn't sign, what then? We go to plan B? If they're going to get rid of McClaren, they might as well do it now. If they think, like the rest of us, that he isn't good enough. Then they should be putting a caretaker in charge and getting shot of him. There is literally no point in him carrying on.
-
Was just about to post something similar. Absolutely no point in keeping him on. In the long run, it seems more harmful than finally settling for our 3rd, 4th, 10th choice replacement. He's not going to be focusing on his job. I mean, he hasn't done that for a while, anyway. The fans are going to grow more and more restless. Plus the players are going to be even more demotivated, if that is actually possible. They've finally come to the conclusion that he is shit and he has to go. So why is he still in charge? Are they honestly considering leaving him as coach, should we fail to get Benitez, Moyes, Rodgers etc..........

Is this useless cunt going to actually sack one manager and appoint another? What has he been doing since Saturday evening?!
-
This is going to go on all season, until we're finally relegated. Sat here every day, pressing F5 and constantly checking twitter. Bunch of fucking amateurs. Urgh.
-
Just imagine if we managed to sneak a win or a draw against Bournemouth. Thank fuck we lost. Of course, if we had a competent owner and chairman. We would have got rid of this prick ages ago. In fact, we probably never would have appointed him in the first place

stoked I placed that bet So gutted The forum bet based on a wind-up is the one I don't get on. Mother fuuuu.... What were the odds? Did you not get on McClaren as the next manager to be sacked? Oh how they laughed. 16/1 is looking pretty tasty now
-
Kill ads. Immediately.
-
Exactly. I'm not saying I would walk if I were in his shoes. It's not like he should be expected to, either. But it doesn't mean the useless twat should be getting sympathy.
-
Super Size, even.
-
Looking at his record with us. He must have a pretty good opinion of himself
-
yep. No way. If he's unwilling to walk away despite being totally inept at his job then keep him where is, doing what he's paid to do until he's relieved. Exactly. The club have acted like cunts. But McClaren knew what he was getting himself in for and he has been out of his depth for a long while. He must know the job is beyond him? KK walked when we treated him like shit. He also walked from England, knowing full well he wasn't up to it. He didn't hang around for a big payoff. Yet he was labelled a bottler by some and McClaren has all and sundry feeling sorry for him? He got a massive compensation package from the England job, as well. So he's got previous. He doesn't deserve any sympathy IMO. I mean, he seems like a decent enough guy. But the man is a shit manager, who has been terrible for us and he's already extremely rich. I bet it's really hard for the poor bloke. Here he is hanging about like a bad smell and being treated like shit. He hasn't got any dignity or morals, to even stand up to the club or say anything in the press. He's just sitting around waiting for another payoff. I don't despise him in the same way I do Pardew. Or think he's as much of a helmet as Carver. But I still don't particularly like how he's acting. The club are a mess from top to bottom. So McClaren fits in quite well.
-
I hope they have basically already agreed on everything. Otherwise, I think that could be a very short meeting!

I know Balague talks some shit. But isn't he friendly with Rafa? I know he's a Liverpool fan and used to always talk positively about him.
