Early contender for worst post of the year. That's not enough. One month ban at the very least. Can ban me forever if they get relegated cause they blatantly wont I'll start praying. Double boost. You leave and Palace go down

Aren't there quite a lot of teams like that? Everyone has made a big deal out of Poch at Spurs, with his double sessions.

Reminds me more of the rapey Dad from This Is England http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/thisisenglandpedia/images/a/a2/ThisIsEng.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20150915195459

Surely they don't mean, they get 3 days off in a row? Just 3 days before a game, they get the day off? If I remember correctly. The week when McClaren finally got sacked. They had the Monday off and then the Friday, as well. As it was the game was on the following Monday. It's still ridiculous, like. I know a lot of clubs are going to give players days off during the week. But in our position. We should have had everyone in the building, working around the clock, trying to find a way out of this mess. Instead, we were just doing morning sessions and missing 1-2 days training a week.

He turned an average Ligue 1 striker into a left wing-back/holding midfielder and a promising box-to-box midfielder into a right-winger. Genius. Not to mention the HBA carry on, wtf was that bloke thinking man. "I don't give a f*** if you can scare the s*** out of defenders and take 6 players on, cover that full back and then be dropped because you can't defend well" What's more worrying. Is the amount of fans that lapped that bullshit up and now constantly use this as an argument against him.

TBF, it looks a bit better with hollow man wearing it.

Incredible. Similar to home and car insurance. You won't get a pay out, if there is no forced entry and they've used keys. If you're drunk and lying there in an alley 'legs akimbo' it is basically the same thing. TBH, you deserve to get rogered That forum is fucking tragic.

Plus, he's always been shite.

Those Nike kits are grim. The French one in particular, looks like a snide that you'd buy off a dodgy market stall.

Don't agree with that, like. Put a finisher in our team and they were struggling to win the game, with their one shot on target. It wasn't like they got a two goal cushion and then cruised. Even though we didn't create loads of clear cut chances. We had plenty of decent attacking situations, that we totally fucked up. A finisher in the mould of Defoe, perhaps.......... This is why I'm so nervous. The rest of your team, looks just as bad, if not worse than ours. But you have a goal scorer, we don't

I have noticed this when reading bits about NFL teams. They usually refer to them as 'it' instead of 'they'. I've also noticed fans rarely refer to their team as 'we'.
-
I think they will, as soon as the odds come out I'll be sticking a decent wedge on it. I'd imagine they'll be somewhere from 20/1 - 50/1. Errr. I read Klaus' post as a joke? Like how Pardew and Ashley never wanted Europe?!

I want him to play. But like Saivet, they seem to be playing bang average/shit players ahead of them. So they can't be showing much.
-
I know it's clichéd. But the midfield battle is going to be massive, in this game. They currently play with a centre half and two holding midfielders. So I'd like to think we have the attacking edge on them! I certainly don't want to see Anita in there again. Up against that lanky German bloke, Cattermole and M'Vila, he'll be a passenger. No idea what's going on with Tiote and Saivet must look dreadful in training. As he's not had a chance since Everton away. Doesn't leave us with many options. I know it's a bit attacking and I've been against it in the past. But I'd be tempted to stick Wijnaldum a bit deeper. He actually offers something when he gets on the ball and whilst he's not defensively minded. He is mobile and doesn't appear to run out of steam. Shelvey has put a lot of effort in of late, compared to what we saw at Swansea and when he first signed. So I think him and Gini, could work. I guess it kind of depends who plays in front of them, though? As if we played Perez, it would be a bit too open and attack minded.

It does fit. Liverpool fans used to sing it for him. We've managed to completely butcher it, though. Which isn't a surprise when you think about how we've managed to fuck up The Blaydon Races. It's our song FFS and we sing it too fast and with the wrong words
-
He's not the most composed. But I don't think you can underestimate quite how high Leicester press. Vardy was up there ratting everyone out and it often meant we had to go back to Elliot. As they pressed so high up the pitch and didn't leave us with many options. Not that we have many options or show for the ball, anyway. Once Leicester started trying to sit back. We had a bit more success. It's also worth mentioning Lascelles tried to overplay at Everton 2-3 times and got caught out. Wasn't the pen and red card, because of overplaying? It looked to me like the back 5, were instructed to go direct.

I've always pointed out his flaws, s*** finishing, inconsistent first touch, inconsistent passing, brainless Fair enough. It just seems whenever I open this thread after one of his many crap games. I can guarantee you'll be in here, defending his honour. I don't even think you/we can use the argument about him being our only attacking threat, anymore. He has been that bad the last couple of months.
-
Yeah, I did read one in another thread. Apologies. I was shocked to see you were actually pointing out his flaws.
-
Does anyone know more about this get out clause? Is it an option for him to leave, or is it the club can cancel the contract? Or is it just, if we get relegated, he's gone? I can't see him managing us in the Championship. But it would be great if he stayed. He'd help us steady the ship and rebuild.
-
I actually think he did well, when dropped deeper. The game suited him by then, as Leicester had started to sit back, so he managed to get on the ball more in space. He's probably our best dribbler of the ball and he's pretty quick. Always seems to turn out of trouble, as well. He still doesn't get involved away from home, in the supposed no.10 role that he starts in. He ends up in no man's land, between Mitro and the midfield. I don't know what the answer is. I still feel we're not utilising him properly. But at the same time, he goes missing and it has to be down to him, as well.
-
same. In his defence. I thought he was going to be absolutely awful and he was only slightly below par. So he did better than I expected. You've got to look for the positives
