  1. Why are they analysing some stupid fucker taking a minute to get his boot back on?! Why is it harsh? Do me a favour.
  2. I thought he was very good. Wasn’t needed on the ball much. But clearly miles better than Pope at that and no heart attacks. One gripe is that I thought he was rooted to his line on crosses. Thought there were a few times he could have come for it or would have been able to claim it and not punch. If he had been a bit more aggressive. Pope is still the better keeper. But not worried at all for cup games or if Pope gets crocked again and Ramsdale gets a run.
  3. Not sure on player ratings. Most were 7s and 8s. A couple of 6s, maybe. Elanga and Krafth. Burn and Tonali 9.
  4. Were they really complaining because Spence was doing his laces up?! The cunt was taking an age on purpose and was being arrogant about the whole thing. Not our fault.

    Jacob Ramsey

I thought he grew into it. Wanted to see more purpose and responsibility from him. Felt like it was often a touch out his feet. Then just a bad pass to someone else. Often putting them under pressure. At 2-0, he started finding all sorts of space and showed decent close control to keep it moving along. Got better and tidier as the game went on. Which is promising. Keep forgetting he has barely played for us.
  6. He is a bit Joe Willock’y in his decisions. Does some really good stuff. Followed by a brain fart or just doesn’t make a decision and then gets caught in possession. I thought there was some promising signs and he was up against an elite defender in Spence. But he seems to be playing within himself and looks unsure and nervy. Needs a goal/assist to settle him down.
  7. To borrow an old Ed Reed saying. “2/3 of the earth is covered by water. The other 1/3 is covered by Sandro Tonali.”

    Joelinton

Why is Joelinton trying to get 3 red cards in one sitting when we’re 2 up after 80 odd minutes So needless. Yet so so good
  9. Thiaw has been brilliant for us since signing. But he is a bit rash like that and finds himself wrong side now and then. Benfica was similar, although necessary.
  10. Barnes is our best finisher I think and that is a hard chance. But you’d expect him to bury one of his two chances, for sure.
  11. It is a recurring theme, though. We take the lead, the other team take more risks and come onto us a bit more. They work their way back into the game and we take too long to respond.
  12. Need to get through to HT. Gone a bit ropey here. We often do after taking a lead. The other team comes onto us more and we don’t react particularly well.
  13. How so? Pope is one of the best sweeper keepers in the league and starts higher than most if not all keepers. It’s what made our high press so good when he signed. They’re just sitting off us and we don’t even need to use Ramsdale’s superior ability on the ball as the extra man. He’s not even in shot most the time the CB’s have the ball and we’ve not had to use him as they’re so deep and putting no pressure on the ball in our half.
  14. I’m really enjoying this tiny screen in the corner showing goals from the other games. I mean, you can’t make out what is going on. But it’s a great addition.
  15. That was generous of them. Didn’t block the run, didn’t challenge for the header and then the keeper dived underneath it
  16. 8 changes from Saturday and still a strong looking team. Willock is the worry. Been off form for about 2 years.
  17. If he is managing an ankle injury and can’t even work on finishing in training because of the pan. Then it makes perfect sense that he isn’t starting.
  18. It was one of the worst finals or even games I've ever seen. But like I'd give a fuck about the league position or how exciting the final was. If we managed to win a European trophy.
  19. The very camp Brunooooooooo that he does is up there with goal music. Horrendous.
  20. Bookies have had us as favourites a lot this season and in games I wouldn't expect it. Of the ones I have checked. We were slight favs in the end against Barca, Brighton away, heavy favs in this and the same against Fulham. The last one is a bit more understandable, but the others seem mental.
