  1. you take the internet too seriously. Serious business, son, you'll learn one day if the pigs don't get you.
  2. Congratulations, you win the internet.
  3. You have serious issues. why? Because your constant need to post inflamatory statements to people you don't know on an internet site indicates a deep seated craving for attention and a desire to be acknowledged and validated even if it is in a negative manner.
  4. Long boot back to Cabaye on the centre spot then a lovely little through ball to catch them out as they're pushing out.
  5. Ok, i'm gonna get a little tin foil hat here but when he was discussing terms with us one of the things that was mentioned was that they wanted to discuss and have assurances on where he would play. We can only assume that he was told he would play in midfield for the most part as that's what he sees as his natural position. He doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would move just to sit on the bench and he knew Tiote and Cabaye were here as our midfield pairing and weren't likely to be displaced. With all that in mind, is it possible that Pardew sold him on the idea of playing in a midfield 3 with Cabaye and Tiote? Could that be a sign that we are aiming to play a 433 and just waiting for Anita to get up to speed before we unleash it? Is it possible to make custard from a packet that doesn't end up lumpy with a manky skin on the top?

I would assume there'll be an internal disciplinary procedure just like any other company, verbal warning, first written warning, second written warning then the sack. Hope so anyway.
  7. Best bit: "...bluey (among Australians)" Only the Aussies would have slang for the color 'red' that makes no logical sense. I hope you're not being discriminatory towards Australians. Typical bloody yank.
  8. I'd never thought of that. It would be awesome. I dream he'd get us playing like Simeone gets his Athletic Madrid team did against Chelsea. Utterly irrational... Shola director of football? Club Chef. Lots of apple based dishes then. You shouldn't have said anything, I really want this to happen now.

386 words, 8 fullstops. How is anyone supposed to read that shit?
  12. Had Gardner not put it out then it would have bounced about 2 yards from the goal-line and Shola was running onto it to stab it home on the (half) volley. Cabaye's corners are generally s*** but that particular one could quite easily have produced a goal. A Newcastle corner producing a goal

I don't think you can really draw any conclusions on him from that game. A local derby, down to ten men for the majority of the game, it's too much of an anomalous situation. I did think bringing Obertan on for HBA was a mistake, I would have preferred to see Anita but ho hum. I am still a little concerned about the football we're playing so far this season. When we're playing 442 the midfield is sitting very deep and leaving the attack isolated. That huge gap between our lines means that we don't have many options to play the ball around in the middle and resort to lumping it forward. Whether this is deliberate and from the manager's instructions or a natural result of Cabaye and Tiote (or whoever is playing CM) often being outnumbered in the centre I don't know. I don't think we get the best out of Jonas having him play wide, he just doesn't offer enough out there. Ben Arfa also plays better when he's pushed further up the pitch and has more license to come central and look for the ball. Having Benny free to roam around in the attack gives our midfield another option and a natural out ball along the floor to a player who has the skill and talent to keep it until support arrives. Cabaye is a great passer of the ball and has excellent vision but when he plays so deep he lacks options and is unable to use his range of passing to open up the opposition defence. If he's in our own half when he receives the ball then it's too much to ask for him to thread a decent ball into the forwards or out wide from there, you end up trying to play hollywood balls. That's all my opinion anyway, i'm sure others will see it differently but that's the beauty of the game.

Who's that Whitley bloke on RTG? Seems desperate to ingratiate himself with the knuckle draggers by running us down all the time.
  16. Game's finished man. I'm talking about the way we've played this season, not just this game. I know, poor atempt at humour! No, it was quite funny now I look at it but wasn't in the frame of mind to get the joke Just feels like we're throwing it away by playing in a defensive formation. Nothing wrong with losing if you do your best and give it a go, it's when I feel we're hamstringing ourselves before we even kick off that I get pissed off.

  18. We seem to be playing far too deep. Massive gap between the midfield and attack and very little movement.
  19. Can't see us scoring tbh. Ba is isolated and we're offering nothing going forward.
  20. We need to get Cabaye some boots that are angled like a 9 iron.
