Okay one thing I don't understand, if our players are getting fed up with long ball why don't they simply refuse to do it? Just play their own game? I know, I know that's very simplistic but honestly why don't they? As a collective surely they can all see what we can? That keeping the ball on the floor works far better than punting it long and hoping Ba/Cisse can produce something?
Last year when he came back into the side at West Ham away, it was such a relief to see him there after putting up with Perch. Then he made some good progress, but he's really stagnated and haven't seen him progress at all this year. Good backup player, however don't see him sticking around for that.
I think it speaks volumes about Hatem's maturity that he's able to go against what he's used to for the good of the team. Would he have done that a few years ago?
