He's had some fantastic moments for us, and delivered in some big occasions. However, last season especially, it was glaringly obvious how off the pace he was. He's no longer a viable back up, because he can't come in and replicate what Bruno/Joelinton/Sandro do, not even close. Getting caught in possession time and time again, falling over at the slightest hint of contact. It was all getting incredibly frustrating, and souring many (myself included) view on him. I really hope he can find his feet again, getting regular playing time.

I think I'm more annoyed at Chelsea wrapping this up ahead of us, than I am losing out on the player. He's not looked anything special at all in the league tbh. Just hope we can start getting people in the door quickly, Eddie/everyone will want them in before pre season or as soon as possible.
