Confused by how we use Willock. He had a really good game against Arsenal basically as a supporting to the striker but we've not done that with him since.

him being on the left or right has no bearing on his ability to run or to kick a ball in a straight line, like. I don't think his head is in it this season at all.

I think playing Burn at left back means you can have an extra tall player and that was a big part of it too. Not that I'm suggesting we go back to that.

yeah, as soon as we went to a midfield 2 of Tonali and Bruno without the use of his hip it was over. They are visibly a very bad team with poor players and coaching but they still had all the control. Was proper embarrassing and enraging to watch in equal measure

I don’t think it’s quite as bad as that. He actually played well for England at the Euros given he was stuck in at left back. Looked decent physically, especially considering he was just coming back from injury. Probably don’t want him playing 2 games a week or anything but I think he’s fine for this season.

I wouldn’t even swap him for Haaland but that’s purely based on aesthetics

that’s what I mean. He’s underperforming his xG slightly this season but we’re only creating 2/3 of the chances for him.
