not surprised by this. Eddie obviously loves having him around and there are a lot of games next season. He’s done it before with the likes of Dummett and Ritchie etc. I’d imagine we’ll be attempting to half his basic wages. we can take the piss out of Chelsea all we want like, but they’ve just finished 4th and are likely to win a European trophy albeit the most minor of them. They’ve ended up having a decent season and may have turned a corner.
