bit mad that he's been in his best form all season by absolutely miles and doesn't get called up, when he got called up every time whilst in poor form . Not really convinced Tommy has been watching many games by his selections. Just seems very vibes-based so far.

don't think Saliba deserves to be in there at all. He's often been rancid since Gabriel's injury.
-
just a foul and move on, that
-
yeah, I don’t think Gordon has even good technique or finishing. He’s about passing and movement. He’d have more than 6 goals this season if he was good at any of that stuff.
-
best player on the pitch today
-
he is very replaceable.

feels like we have to try not to upset Gordon for some reason. Can’t play him on the right, reluctant to sub him off, even at the cost of two of our best players in recent months. Bizarre stuff.

at least try swapping Barnes and Gordon for a bit. Neither have worked at all.
-
Gordon a disgrace again there ffs
-
he never really has? His game has always been passing and movement
-
Krafth and Miley coming on. Probably going to 4-3-3
-
that Barnes has been punted out of position and Gordon comes in and plays like this is really annoying
-
hook Gordon asap, he’s been utter shite
-
Gordon really frustrating
-
Tino no confidence in front of goal there

what on earth was that defending
-
Gordon lost the ability to control a football

1-0 about the best we could’ve realistically hoped for. Need to make sure we don’t get beat by many on Sunday if we lose.

think Martinelli has been injured in training at least

we're still on just 7 points lost from winning positions this season then, the best in the league. I know it's not natural for a Newcastle fan but I'm starting to feel more comfortable when we drop into a defensive block that we'll just see it through now. Always feel like if we score early then we'll win. It's obviously not even how Howe wanted us to play in the second half but the fact we're so good at it regardless is a massive credit to him, the staff and the players.

he was really good. I didn't see any rustiness in his performance at all.
-
feels like ages ago but Isak was poor for the first 10 or so games of the season as well imo. Some of our performances back then were honking and he was a pretty big part of that, especially first 6 games where he only managed 1 goal.

yeah, think only Hall was on a par with him until the injury. Burn probably still edges it because... well...
