he’s… fine. A decent top half PL player, for sure. But I imagine taking Villa’s captain - who has played 103 games for them over the past two seasons - off them is going to be £30m+, and he isn’t the sort of athletic profile that is going to be able to play in midfield in the PL for much longer than the coming season.
