Their constant sucking-off of other clubs is so baffling to me. Perhaps that's because i'm a belligerent bastard who actively likes other clubs being pissed off at us, but their neediness is just so alien in something so tribal as who you support. I genuinely don't get it.

If this lockdown has made us appreciate certain roles in society more, care workers, supermarket staff, delivery drivers etc, can we also do the opposite for other roles? I'm talking specifically about sports journalists because if nothing else this saga has shown 90% of them up for what they are - absolute chancers basing their profession on guesswork and straight-up lies. It's been said on here already, I wish for them exactly what they wish for us. What do you think they wish for us, like? On RTG/Twitter obviously you'll get some morons, but in the "real world" I don't know any SAFC who wants NUFC to be a major failure. Is that really accurate? I work in Washington now and I'd say there's a pretty solid 50-50 split between 'normal' SAFC fans who are knowledgeable and grounded, and those who are absolute copper-bottomed bitter arseholes. I'm not a big fan of the city rivalry but the club rivalry is very much alive on both sides, regardless of division. Exactly.
