This is a very apposite gif. We all need that second slap right now. Comedy fact: Leslie Nielsen was told by the director Jerry Abrahams to not even try to play his characters 'funny', but to always be as straight as possible. This is probably why his parts in Airplane/Police Squad/Naked Gun work so well. Anyway, back to panic mode

Hey remember when Amnesty refused to kick off about abortion of babies conceived from rape? Anyone? Because of all the donations they got from the Church? Anyone? Oh right, yeah, Amnesty, arbiters of whats right from wrong. They can f***. Right. Off. When/where is this? From a quick google they seem extremely pro abortion Civil war in DRC, first hand accounts. I doubt It'll appear on Google. Obviously I can only take your word on that as it’s anecdotal, not calling you a liar but you know I have no idea unless you have a link to anything? Fair enough, its true I have worked with survivors of the conflict and I don't have anything other than anecdotal evidence (I have no reason to disbelieve them either) But both Amnesty and Oxfam knew this was happening, they were there and did absolutely nothing. This happened on their watch. So yeah, they can get fucked. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexual_violence_in_the_Democratic_Republic_of_the_Congo

Was living in Rusholme Manchester during this, mad Russians everywhere, IRA had just bombed the city centre, this Covid19 is absolute bullshit in comparison!

It's been said on here already, I wish for them exactly what they wish for us. What do you think they wish for us, like? On RTG/Twitter obviously you'll get some morons, but in the "real world" I don't know any SAFC who wants NUFC to be a major failure. Is that really accurate? I work in Washington now and I'd say there's a pretty solid 50-50 split between 'normal' SAFC fans who are knowledgeable and grounded, and those who are absolute copper-bottomed bitter arseholes. I'm not a big fan of the city rivalry but the club rivalry is very much alive on both sides, regardless of division. Exactly.

This fulfils both my love of British sitcoms and analogies! Well played!

The entire event was organised by a black woman so what the fuck are you blathering about? I just noticed 25 little faces, and like you say all apart from the Mp were all blokes. It just made me think how because we are in lock down it's much harder to dress things up to look a certain way perhaps like on tv etc, the labour mp would most likely have her fellow daft Mps if they watched that claim there was no female representation or enough diversity in race taking part etc. It made me look and see how actually it reflects perhaps how real it is due to lockdown and how were doing things, over perhaps cherry picking to please audiences? Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm so used to normally seeing cherry picked participants and it surprised me to see those 25 faces? Also I was genralising as a whole, not this forum. It could also be im still in the Megan Rapinoe mode from days ago where I was trying to explain to a woman on twitter it's not about Male vs Females why the womens game can't justify an equal pay claim. Btw it's just what I picked up at first glance. It's not meant to be a katie hopkins type nasty attack OK fair enough but I don't remember this event being advertised as 'feminist' or 'multi-cultural'. I imagine it would've been easy to cherry-pick a different set of contributors but clearly she didn't do that. She wanted a representative panel of NUFC fans and if you've been to a match anytime ever, it's overwhelmingly what you see on that screen shot. Hats off to her for doing it, she could easily have sat back and did nowt for fear of rocking the boat.

Really? I don't know if you've heard but every other non-nufc fan forum in the country is essentially Amnesty International distilled into one self-righteous little outrage-grenade now. It was a shit joke and in poor taste, but the image of ashley being led away in cuffs.....to be honest, that did raise a smile

Just to see the look on Liverpool fan's faces.....I'd take this
