I’ve watched a fair bit of Man U since lockdown and what I’ve noticed with Maguire is he isn’t even that good at bringing the ball out from the back. It’s like he’s been told his whole career he is so that’s what he does but he’s an absolute liability most of the time and rarely plays anything but a safe pass.

I always find that criticism a bit weird of managers at big clubs. Mou gets it a lot. Those clubs are going to spend big regardless of the manager. Has Pep been successful at City? Yes. Has he imposed his philosophy at the clubs he’s been at? Yes. Maybe a poor comparison but it’s not like he’s Pardew in our 5th season where he landed on a system that worked with the players he’s signed.

Been saying this for ages too. She doesn't inspire confidence at all to date sadly. Why? She has an ambition to make us better and has gone about trying to acquire us on a number of occasions. In comparison to what we’ve had for as long as I can remember what’s not to like?
