If we've allowed the money mad capitalists to take over the asylum, then it's hardly surprising when the inmates start to get a taste for the power of capital too. Everyone's taking the piss because they just want more of the ever increasing money pie. Meanwhile we're still sat here banging on about loyalty like proper mugs.

Salah enjoying life on the beach with his new contract

Just because he's a little bit taller, doesn't mean he's not a baller
-
Yeah it's also obviously not baked into the terms of his contract so basically meaningless

If his assurances in writing were worth anything then he wouldn't be in this situation

Reading both the Isak and Wissa statements just reminds me of "I've kept really quiet but I'll tell you something..."

Great to see endorsement for the United Ireland here but Larne are in the Northern Irish League so they don't count..

Shelbourne AND Shamrock Rovers both into conference group stage, unprecedented stuff for Irish teams

So are we at the stage where we have been knocked back by all the hot women in the nightclub but have suddenly been propositioned by some previously unsighted strapping young German lass and her auntie Toni?

Nicky only wanted das neue schloss

Are we still "insisting" then?

He's scored two goals until he scores a third goal, that's how goals work. Great insight from the aeroplane celebration nonce

Konate decision is absolutely honking but they can probably (wrongly) argue their way out of it one way or another, Schar's head injury is completely clear cut and indefensibly wrong, there's no world in which play should have continued there

I agree with pretty much everything in this thread. I've become completely disillusioned with most of the top flight football. While I still watch our games, I'm not particularly bothered if I miss one these days, and I have basically zero interest in watching other Premier League matches, a big contrast to when I used to watch anything and everything. Now I follow the League of Ireland more closely than anything else. I've had a Galway United season ticket for the past few years. The quality is obviously miles off, but, and I know this sounds like cliched football hipster nonsense, at least it feels like real football. There's something authentic that's been totally lost at the top level in the big leagues.

From two goals and a man down, and they need a shit load of good fortune, stings like fuck but we will be alright
