3-1 win for Drogheda keeps them in top tier for another season, two goals from Haiti international Frantz Pierrot (brother of AEK Athens Frantzdy Pierrot) got the job done, Drogheda owned by same US investment fund as Walsall
-
League of Ireland promotion/relegation playoff between Drogheda and Bray Wanderers is on if anyone is totally desperate, hopefully for your own sake you are not..
-
Alternative idea: one match each week the ref does a massive line of gear before the start of each half
-
I'm all for refs being allowed to openly call out managers as cunts tbh, give them the power back - if manager pisses them off or steps out of line then they get called out as a cunt and get unfair treatment in the future. Would instantly improve public perception of match officials and would also give Sky pundits an extra thing to analyse

I'm not grateful to Steve Bruce for much, but I'm grateful that he made Big Joe look so shite in hindsight, otherwise we'd probably be watching this beast tearing it up at Liverpool every week
-
Their signings feel like a scattergun approach where they sign a few biggish names without any thoughts to how it's all going to work or much consideration for the future, feels a bit like us at the end of Shepherd/Hall tenure
-
Nothing but contempt for Palace anyway, the Pardew fetishising whoppers. Shame it looks like there's going to be strong competition for relegation spots again this season
-
Alongside a lad making his PL debut too, they are knackered with injuries though
-
Was actually thinking about Alan Bennett during the Chelsea match the other night with Darren Ambrose monologues
-
Sorry in advance but I wrote it so I'm posting it.. Quick feet, this lad is elite, always keeping wingers out, I'm sure you've heard it all before, but every game you're standing out, I don't believe that Chelsea's backroom knows what they missed somehow
-
They seemed to confirm that fairly quickly, probably doesn't get overturned if he doesn't give it
-
Did brilliant, he's clearly got a massive future. Still seems mad that Chelsea are able to let all these super talented kids go without a care in the world.
-
They were so niggly man, always putting in a bit of unnecessary contact on 50/50s. We weren't even shithousing much bar Pope's "injury", mostly because we didn't need to
-
Deservedly and with zero controversy, surprised how limited they looked tbh
-
Miggy probably not the worst shout here, need someone who can run a lot if nowt else
-
Whereas Dubs actually had angina
-
Lots of niggly stuff from them and the biggest threat is their shithouse set pieces. Great to see them channeling the spirit of their nemeses Stoke City
-
Is this the Longstaff effect again?
-
There was a young man called Duff Who liked to lie and bluff His football was bad The worst that we had So the fans said, that's enough
-
Can definitely see Duff managing in England down the line, be a perfect successor to the likes of Dyche and Pulis
-
Shels and Duff win the league, definition of grinding it out all season Galway finish 5th - best season in 20+ years - bit surreal having both the teams I support performing competitively at the top level tbh
-
I have a Galway season ticket, weirdly felt like we had an outside chance of winning it (or at least getting a Europe spot) a few weeks ago - but not to be. Great to see the league thriving at the minute. St Pats also going to be very strong next season based off current form and with Stephen Kenny in charge, hard to break the Dublin cartel.
-
Aye, be a bit crap if Rovers won it given they've been mediocre at best all season but it's been an insanely competitive season even if there's been no clear standout team. I've got Galway on, currently losing 1-0 to Bohs
