  1. Yes, there's a video kicking about on Twitter. Him and Gray discussing it.

  3. https://www.nufc.co.uk/news/archive/united-freeze-or-reduce-season-ticket-prices/ A few years to go yet, according to this. It mentions the 2023/24 season as being the final year.
  4. The helicopter from yesterday made a return journey to the UK and landed in Oxfordshire today. Where did you see this? It's on Flight Radar, landed a few miles from Kassam this afternoon. His usual chopper hasn't moved since 29th January.
  5. Aye, was thinking the same. When Keys opens his gob it usually comes from Ashley or Bishop.
  6. No one has told him it isn't happening, they're questioning why it would happen. Secondly, it's not just about the acquisition of a football club, there is potentially a much bigger project on the cards involving regional development. A successful football team would only be one piece of the jigsaw.
  7. You can just see Charnley making sure that Ashley gets to read it, in an attempt to save his own job. The statement will achieve absolutely nothing positive.
  8. This. The potential here is massive.
  9. In the middle of it all some guy is asking him for advice on a small oral cyst
  10. Seems to be the new way to say that there's about to be something to celebrate.
  11. Meltdown currently taking place on Twitter because The Dentist has tweeted "Cans".
  12. He seems capable of standing up, that's a good start anyway.

    St James' Park

Not easy to see from the pic, but there's a load of bulbs or LEDs on top of the characters. It's going to be an illuminated sign.
  14. It's beyond nauseating! Get behind the club?! Fuck off man!! If that's not Bishop with a bot farm somewhere then these individuals are thicker than a whale omelette. I mean, we had a much better response to the campaign against McKeag who was a bit of a cunt, but at least the money made from the sale of Beardsley and Gascoigne was largely reinvested, albeit some of which was in bricks and mortar. This guy doesn't give a flying fuck, is directly and indirectly taking millions, and laughing his tiny cock off in the process.

    St James' Park

Only started doing it this week, just seems to be around Terrace Bar area at present. No evidence of painting elsewhere at present but they may work their way around.

    Lee Charnley

He's moved fairly recently IIRC (huss9[/member] I think used to live near his old gaff) Pretty sure he lived in Great Park but moved up Morpeth way.
  17. I cancelled mine last night and emailed the club to say why (well...filled in the contact form where they say they'll get back to you...zzzz)' Had our tickets since the Ardilles/Keegan season (just after we'd all left Uni and got jobs) but had been going since being kids....been with the same lads ever since so end of an era. Currently I just feel f***ing gutted, tbh. Have to say that I'm very disappointed that it's come to this, probably been going a similar length of time to you and its always been a massive part of my life. Always thought that it would be incredibly difficult for me to give it up, but they've actually made it a relatively easy decision in the end. I'm consoling myself with the practical benefits that this will bring, like how much money we'll save during the season. With other stuff like matchday booze, away tickets, travel and other odds and sods I reckon we'll be around £500 a month better off during the season. You don't really mind when there's a bit of pride and enjoyment to be had, but for me all that has now well and truly gone.
  18. I have two tickets on the ten year deal. I'd been hanging on in the hope that the takeover would go through (I know, I know!) but DDs have been cancelled this morning. Really did felt quite cathartic. Been speaking to a lad this morning who sits in front of me in The Leazes, he's done every game home and away for years but he's also binned his ticket off, 300+ loyalty points I think he had. I know that there is a thought that it will still be near full next season, but I really don't think so. Just about everyone that I've spoken to who had a season ticket has jacked it in. I guess we'll find out in a few weeks.
  19. Under normal circumstances I would've been sad enough to take the day off work and have a canny day watching the two matches with a few beers, but I don't think I've ever been less arsed about a NUFC match in my life :'(

    St James' Park

Being tarted up to add value, as it's being sold off to the same Malaysian investors who purchased Shirebrook.
  21. Liked this part of the translation: Bruno Genesio is currently in this city, agitated sometimes by the frost, and humidity, but passionate about football to an inestimable point. The challenge is there for the former OL coach. The "Premier League" resumes on August 10, and if Lyon's Bruno Genesio, engages, it will be immediately on the breach. At least the bit about the frost is correct.
