  1. Does this mean that the Saudi interest is still there? Hope so mind you the ambassador could just be a mag!! Could be, it's interesting. Also see that Bread Board Nick has liked the tweet.
  2. If this is true and his cover has been blown then I doubt he'll be back. He's already said that he isn't him so clearly doesn't want to be identified.
  3. The account only being active since April makes me suspicious it isn’t actually him... Could be deleting stuff after a period of time, some people do that to mitigate the possibility of things biting them on the arse further down the line. His like history goes back to 2017.
  4. I'm with you on this one. I've been kicked in the nuts once with this and it was fucking awful, but I've decided to go shit or bust and get pulled back in. I really look forward to your updates, keep them coming. If it comes to nothing then fair enough but I've not read anything credible so far which suggests that this is stone dead. There's still hope.
  5. I can feel myself being pulled back in again. Not sure why I'm allowing it to happen as last Thursday was a pretty grim experience which I'd rather not repeat.
  6. Guy is generally a scumbag. He voted against the 2nd Tyne tunnel and also against the Silverlink roundabout and A1 duelling. Had the misfortune of meeting him once before. He's an extremely bitter bastard. Hates NUFC or anything north of the Tyne for that matter. Openly admits it as well. Guy is a full blown Tosser. He sent his son to Whitley Bay High school despite living right next to John Spence. He sent him there because John Spence doesn’t have a good reputation or OFSTED rating, or at least it didn’t at the time, where as Whitley Bay did. If he was anyone else there is no way he would been able to send his kid to Whitley Bay over John Spence. Even if John Spence was full, he would have been required to send him to Marden, or Monkseaton ahead of Whitley Bay. It just so happens that both of those schools weren’t highly rated either. He was a teacher at Whitley High when i was there. He started dating a sixth form student and then left the school under a bit of a cloud i seem to remember. Then they got married a few years later. He was a right arsehole. Yes. He was born in 1957, left Whitley Bay High School in 1989 when he was 32. A sixth former would have been 18 when they left, so the scenario was he was 32 (or younger) and she was around 18 when they started seeing each other. Not a good look for an MP. It must make for an uncomfortable moment when anyone asks him or his wife how they met. I'm loathe to take this off topic, but what the fuck? I'm a teacher in Australia, and that guy would have his registration permanently cancelled and an investigation for historical child sex offences. And that's not hyperbole - I had a colleague whose 40 year old relationship with an 18yo consensual student saw him banned for life and a very rigorous police investigation (after it came to light). It probably wouldn't be allowed to happen now, but around about the time that we're talking about (late 80s/early 90s) I was at a school in North Tyneside and a member of non teaching staff was getting away with fucking murder with 16 year old lasses (what was classed as year five at the time). I know that at least one parent challenged the school and was told that there was nothing that they could do as the guy wasn't a teacher and the girls were of legal age.
  7. That is a massive surprise. For what it is worth, it was Ian Mearns who told me he was a Sunderland fan and that asking him to do anything was a waste of time in regards to NUFC. It's such a big issue that it could potentially be detrimental to him if he chose to ignore it, and isn't Tynemouth a marginal seat? Mind, he hasn't published the letter so we don't actually know the contents of it yet, if ever.

  9. The fact that there has been no update for nearly an hour would suggest that he's right. Either that, or The Cabal have invited him in to a meeting room and bumped him off.
  10. Fair play to him. I'm guessing that he will be asked to leave before he gets the chance to see anyone but this sort of action will at the very least be a bit of a pain in the arse for the PL.
  11. Nothing more than propaganda to try and prevent fans from jacking it in. Unless the government step in, there's not a chance that the PL move on this.
  12. If its passed then there's no way he pies them off. I mean, the blokes a cunt but he's not stupid. Given current circumstances, the club is a depreciating asset and he'll want rid surely.
  13. Could be a bit more specific like. Internet says it’s on. No idea how to add a screenshot here, but the account is Maintain St James Park Reading their tweets makes it clear that it's balls though Is that not another one of Burnsie's accounts? If so, it'll be bollocks!
  14. Don't really think it tells us anything TBH, there are several ways to perceive what message he's trying to get across. Is he giving them the green light to block it, or is he sending a message to those MPs who have challenged it to let the PL do their job? Or is that a public denial of involvement, but privately they're telling them to get it sorted? Fuck knows!
