apparently why fa cup is teh best in world cos it's so unpredictable, arsenal beating chelsea like wigan beating man city a few years back. Who would have thought such a small club as arsenal doing well?

You're going to have to tell me where you got those stats from. ESPN has Sterling on 41 games for Man City, plus 7 as sub, with 6+1 games for England. Eriksen 46 for Spurs, plus 3 as sub, with 5 for Denmark. Sterling Man City Goals 10 Assists 14 (Prem G 7 A 6) Eriksen Spurs Goals 12 Assists 23 (Prem G 8 A 15) Doesn't really detract from the main point though - Sterling has been really good for Man City this season. I will point out that we scored 6 more Premiership goals that "more free-scoring Man City". Well bad defending City then They were more flat track bullies mind, rack up goals in games the other team couldn't cope with I think so some easy goals. Got stats from here, sorry if incorrect just from google https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/christian-eriksen/leistungsdaten/spieler/69633

'until back to full fitness' Oh ffs sorry for the criticism then

Think he had a good season under Guardiola actually, told him to stay wide and stretch play and was good at it. Comparing him to say Christian Eriksen for a more accomplished well regarded player Sterling made 47 appearences to Eriksen's 48, 10 goal's to Eriksen's 12 and 21 Assists to Eriksen's 23. Very very respectable imo. Admitably City were more freescoring but couldn't defend in contrast with Spurs, but he's still young.

I want David Silva to be in the premier league forever though, not many players as delightful to watch as a neutral. Pep wants his team all attacking midfielders, which for the neutral is brilliant even if it's not working.
-
So much for that then
-
What a breath of fresh air he is after so long. Just breaths football. Kinda feel sorry for his family though, prolly thought they may get a few weeks of holiday after he won the league
-
He should want to be part of international football and experience tournaments. It's a lack of hunger and it's embarrassing imo.

Took a while for the bt sport video director to realise
-
just hoy him in the tyne man and pretend he never existed

With his perfect international record what mountains are left to conquer?
-
Fair enough.

He owned 50% forced Cellino not to keep making terrible decisions and brought some stability. He could turn out to be crazy or could finally go well for them
-
Indeed actually joining in 2019

Is there a bigger cockend in football, than a certain John Terry?
Tiresias replied to Big Geordie's topic in Football
Just imagine John Terry -
Still better than Ginger Jack. So's my gran and she's dead

How come all our targets are also linked with Everton and West Ham? (Well obviously some agent bullshittery or some such)
-
Well yes, I do hope you have another good season, the team is great and deserve to win something imo (obviously you can't stop the Rafa title charge mind)
-
I suspect Spurs will struggle in Wembley and come up just short of champions league next season, if that leads to Poch being sacked or him walking they are prolly screwed and will lose players. Really should be wrong, but reckon teams will love playing at Wembley against them and it'll have a similar (if not as dramatic) effect as the olympic stadium did to west ham.

Gone a bit Richard Keys in here...

FOOTBALL MUST BE ENJOYED IN A CALM ORDERLY FASHION Come off it man, it's not the end of the world, Morrisson sounds a humourless prick. Realise it's Millwall fans so likely to be pricks but still

Best show they've got. The pundits they have on really know their stuff too, much rather watch/listen to them than suffer an ex pro spouting absolute nonsense. Shame, it'll no doubt be replaced by Phil Nevilles of the world talking about pashun and hard work is why bayern munich won stuff
