  1. I'm guessing levy won't even countenance selling to a direct rival for top 4 which is fair enough albeit one he's gone I'm not sure they will threaten. If they spend money wisely they can adapt, but this is spurs so they will spunk it badly
  2. Are Brighton breaking their model a bit signing someone nurtured elsewhere without the profit margin available? I would be a bit surprised with him getting time last season and mahrez gone so they are down a wide man
  3. I am full of contradictions. I hate the modern spaceship bland stadiums (not that i've been to many in reality lol) but also think madder the shit the funner. Spurs chickened out of their cheese tasting tunnel or whatever it is. Mad silly shit gives character, copy paste could be anywhere architecture and chain stuff is the enemy. I want silly design and I want silly gimmicks.
  4. Thought that was Jacob Ramsey for a second and thought why the fuck are they selling him lol
  5. I can see a brutal logic to it, sign another keeper of high quality who expects to start and let the best keeper win, the other will be pissed and you can try and sell him a year later, it just feels a bit of a recipe for dressing room unrest. May prove me wrong, or maybe he won't be that good but will hit Ramsdale's confidence significantly and it will be a lot of wasted wages.
  6. For the record, i do get all the arguments to move it, i understand it...but it's not fucking newcastle without the stadium at the top of the hill... Would the council not move all teh roads around completely for us, seriously, just knock through anything, redesign the whole infrastructure of the city just to have the new stadium there, teh best placed stadium in the fucking country, visible all round as you approach...
  7. I suspect the first major plan is building whole new training facilities which will likely include a modest stadium (like man city have) that will be used for women's games etc. Once that is built, so years down the line, they can rebuild/move whatever new stadium and we will play in the temporary stadium for a year, which will suck but hey ho.
  8. Yes, Brighton, the bad guys holding players hostage by reliably selling them to willing buyers, christ what a dumb fuck
  9. Can we have the worlds only completely underground stadium? leave st james above it for the womens team
  10. I mean do any club (even the soft touches) go around thinking they're soft touches? I assume they all think it's hardball. I mean Brighton do willingly sell players as that's their model, but even then I would say they are stubbon, Caicedo ain't going cheap
  11. Biggest concern is how Howe managed rotation. His faith in keeping squad stable realty helped build momentum with us but with actual options on the pitch and Europe he will have to rotate out players who are performing well. I am concerned at losing that continuity. Fortunately the players who are most at risk seem good eggs.
  12. Fair! I just want to see if that outside of the boot cross to isak against spurs was a fluke or if he can do that more often!
  13. I actually disagree, psg dressing room must be a nightmare and loads of internal politics. Going to dyche won't work for everyone but could be a breath of fresh air for a young player. Or could just get kicked in training and bollocked whether tries any skill so we shall see
  14. I'm really sorry but i trust my eyes lol. He 100% swapped interchangeably with joelinton frequently in games they both played in and it was tremendously successful
  15. I'm holding firm to my prediction they will sack moyes quickly anyway and bring in the least appropriate coach for these players in Potter.
  16. Why not Michael Owen in his helicopter?
  17. Grt helen mirren to do a geordie accent
  18. There is an element of that sure but evertons signings have been terrible. My hardcore Everton fan mate is 100% that the club deserve everything they're getting currently
  19. They've been largely coached by fairly boring coaches. They built a decent team for the premier league while still in championship so when they came up they were well prepared. They were solid at the back with some excellent players to threaten on counter and that solidity got them far initially, but it wasn't refreshed and the Mendes signings stopped being any good and it's just curdled. I would be very surprised if they stayed up this season looks like a textbook backslide.
  20. I mean, i get maybe kane not fitting your ideal system, but... I still think if you can't accommodate a 20 goal a season striker (and one who contributes assists too!) You are getting way too stubborn with your tactics. If pep can bend man city for haaland...its not ronaldo at man u where here made them actively worse surely...
  21. Oh ok. No they're not they are sensible transfers making us better bit by bit. I really think Brighton and Brentford and such show your much complacent mugs run premier League scouting departments. I saw someone saying you'd be shocked how many chairman are obsessed about 'winning' windows and spending the most money or some shit. I'm not that concerned about ffp even after all this because there is plenty of low hanging fruit to improve is and trying to become a league challenging club overnight you will end up like a total clown show or worse Chelsea
  22. I mean man u will be fine rashford is back in scoring form
  23. It does look like the worst episode of succession from that lol just needs more swearing
  24. They have twice our commercial revenue. They are still behind Spurs somehow though which ought to embarrass them a bit, can;t compete with spurs super fancy new stadium even if their stadium is finally turning profit after years of debt holding them back. They do seem bad at making money from player sales is true mind
