Very true, because there is no attacking player in France that will be a challenge on the level of Shola Ameobi, Emile Heskey, or Franco Di Santo. fair point, but I do think defenders have a more brusing time of it in the premier league, perhaps in Spain they need to be more elegant tackling to avoid bookings. Not sure about France, maybe it is a haven of good defending.
