Bale probably will be great or could be with a few years under a disciplinarian who wouldn't indulge him wanting to drift whereever he likes, he's no good in the middle and yet wants to be there and Redknapp let him second half of season. With harder work and less selfish at times he could well very very good. If indulged suspect he'll be a could have been player.

pretty poor, I assume we'll get it next year or does it take longer for them to reasses?

8 or 9m Euros is pretty reasonable imo and we should be willing to offer that.

Yeah saw article saying Balotelli was rather justifiably upset over that Not sure about that comment about fergie stripping technical ability, well true mostly but he's been pulling Rooney deeper to solve Man U's total lack of a creative midfielder (apart from Scholes) which is arguably trying to make Rooney a more technical player. I just find it incredible that he was asked to mark Pirlo, the player Hodgson had said in public his main aim was to stop and he asks Rooney to do it? And then predictably he barely bothers at all, clear laziness, and then that problem doesn't get fixed, no other player is asked even...

Not seen enough of him yet, know he did well at Wigan but seems a little early to be automatic starter, sure he will be if he keeps it and gets a full season at man u under his belt

Under Roy's reign it'll always be two banks of four ( ) and so sturridge may get a chance up front. We seem to lack decent wide wingers which is odd because considering english fondness for wide players peppering crosses into the box you'd think we'd have a few. Instead we have some pretty decent ones who will cut inside, but won't work with Roy's wide game. Bleh. If I were in charge! Hart Lescott Cahill Smalling Richards Wilshere Rodwell Baines Ox Rooney Carroll (ok probably not)

that's not dreadful imo but still not convinced by Rooney dropping too deep, he can do it but reckon people get a bit carried away simply because he can play football a bit more than most English strikers and suddenly think he's a proper playmaker... Also am I harsh to have lost patience with Sturridge by end of last season?
-
I think it could because if they choose not to bring up bad character in the case and the jury read the article anyway it could imo considered to bias them. Very minor yeah very likely to create serious prejudice yeah but think it's a bit dodgy. I know how contempt works btw.

Bloody terrible man management in french camp. I suspect Ben Arfa has had words with Pards as well, who has responded with an arm around the shoulder by the sounds of things and kept him on side. Nasri can understand for running battle with the press which doesn't look good but still.
-
Aye, I think there may have been a generation of youth players with Wilshere that he was expecting to all come good, and then they mostly didn't, and Fabergas and Nasri buggered off (though Wenger surely must have realised the former was going to) so he's lost some patience with youth system. Still as much as Frimpong is a headcase if he can get that sorted out with some maturity he may be good, was kinda impressed with him...and also hilarious though

Good signing for them, I'm starting to get seriously worried about how much all the teams at the top of the table are strengthening, come on Ashley buy Debuchey already...
-
Hmmmm that article is walking a fine line for contempt of court.

I see City are rumoured to want Collocini again, can't see it, I hope...

think south american strike force would all get in each others way oddly, too many dribbly runs, whereas thin European one may be balanced. Oh well would be a silly game.
