Baresi + Maldini were exceptional to watch, they're control of the ball was just first class. Costacurta looked to have quite a bit of pace as well, sprinted back to make a tackle on one occasion. The Andy Cole chanting got a decent airing as well after he hit the post.

Brilliant night. Great to see so many legends on the pitch at once even though a lot of them could hardly sprint 5 yards Harper took the 3rd penalty for us, their keeper stood in the middle of the net ready to not move and let it in and Harper belted it straight down the middle so it just bounced off the keepers shins and away He made some excellent saves in the second half for them though, absolutely top drawer Barton's 'tackle' was brilliant as well, Di Canio looked well p*ssed off. He was one of AC's best players though on the night, probably better than a few of the current Sunderland first team.

Was expected really. For the last fortnight or so, ever since the Gomis deal broke down I knew that we weren't going to bring anyone in. The Remy deal will be a good one if it contains a buyout clause (and he doesn't get locked up) and I'm glad that no one important has left but overall it's been a massive disappointment. 2/10 I'd say.
