You dont really need to sit in, i would'nt call what Italy did " sitting in " also i agree they are not disciplined enough with the line up against Sweden but if they go with something like this..... i feel they would be disciplined and potent enough to do the job. Lloris Debuchy Rami Koscielny Revelliere Diarra Cabaye M'Vila Menez Benzema Ribery

Alonside him in the midfield 3 of course.... in any case i thought he was better against England than he was at Ukraine..... i actually thought he struggled to get a stranglehold on the game against Ukraine until about 5 mins before his goal.... where as against England he had a foothold on the whole game for pretty much the first 5 mins to the last 5 mins. -

He's only had 1 decent game anyway IMO. Didn't really shine v England. Au contraire mon ami. I thought he had a very good first game. He kept the ball moving and fed Nasri and Ribery time and time again. Also had a few good efforts on target. The standout performer for France by a mile in this tournament. This, plus he was only a whisker from getting a winner against England if it was'nt for Welbeck flicking out his ankle he would have volleyed one in the bottom corner.... everyone would have praised him to ridiculous levels. Show's the fine lines between " didn't really shine" and "motm performance" -

Cabaye has to stop Xavi.....Iniesta will have to be dealt with by Debuchy as he plays outwide for Spain, just like how Clichy will have to deal with Silva.... Although if either one comes inside then Diarra or M'vila will have to stop them.... that's if France line up how i think they will. -

Yeah, but if i recall he almost let Tiote do all the defensive work in both games and just did what you see him do for France usually he was free'd up a lot more in those games than the usual holding midfielder in 4-4-2 it was almost like Tiote sat and Cabaye infront of him instead of alongside him. Obviously in a 4-3-3 Cabaye can do this more often knowing there will be 2 players behind him sitting and protecting so he doesnt have to worry about it. He's fantastic in both systems IMO, for different reasons but 4-4-2 i do feel restricts a lot more than 4-3-3 does. -

Cabaye has become almost Schweignsteiger like in his importance for club and country.... not only does playmake and score goals but he also destroys opposition attacks he will be absolutely vital today if France are going to get anything. Over 200 tackles and interceptions last season for NUFC along with the assists, goals and chances created despite being deployed in a very deep position speaks volumes of how complete a player he is. I cant wait to see how big he becomes for us if we switch to 4-3-3 with him as the most furthest forward midfielder..... the tackles and interceptions will probably go down but the goals, assists and chances created will probably sky rocket. -
He's quality( potential wise atleast) he has tonnes of it, still extremely raw but i would'nt mind to see us sign youngsters of that ilk.... there was rumours we would sign 1 young striker and 1 more high profile one. With Best making way, i would'nt mind seeing De Jong and Castaignos as those strikers if i'm honest.
-
Nah its still very unrealistic, if he where to leave Madrid he would probably join a massive CL club. If in someway it were possible then it would be an amazing signing, not happening though.

Clicked the yellow C next to Ozil to make him captain then closed down the page forgetting to click confirm before the game
-
Nah, I'm pretty sure Ozil stays. I'd like to see Gotze in that role, but this is hardly the time to experiment at such a crucial position. Reus and Schurrle should perform well in place of Podolski and Muller, neither of whom has been stellar in the tournament. Dropping Gomez is a questionable call, but we all know how well Klose plays for the national side. Good because i just made him captain I foolishly picked Klose on my team as well, blindly expecting him to start over Gomez. Gotten me all of 3 points so far. This is where he earns his keep! Ozil btw i'm seriously considering thinking of adding Klose in just for this game.... think he might score a couple.

Exactly. Today Hummels in the paper was quoted saying that Greece could easily win and that they (Germany) are not really that much better than England. He said something along the lines that Germany were lucky with the Lampard "goal" in 2010 and that the 4-1 was a bit lucky. Patronizing c*nt.

They aint dropping Ozil as well are they ? because shit will really go down then
-
To be fair they probably do know more than Lee Ryder. Tbf 90% of people on this forum probably know more than that nutjob
-
That and the fact his hair looks like its been stuck on with some glue
-
I planned to add Gomez into the team, but i havent yet so that doesnt effect me a great deal.... although i might add Klose just for this game.
-
Most complete midfielder of his generation.... was a cracking player but was unlucky as f*ck I lost count of how many Semi's and final's he lost.

One of the best dutch journo's..... know his s*** when it comes to dutch football. Never heard of him. I cant say i know of him through watching the games, but i was told he knows his stuff and he's the guy to follow if you want Eredivisie info.... Maybe its not true but that's what i was told. Don't know who told you but he's neither Dutch or a journalist, just some random English ajax fan judging by his twatter account.. That's the last time i listen to random people on Twitter

Bleacher report is usually full of budding 12 year old writers, so no suprise crap like that would appear on there.

It is LOL.COM tbf, anyway i might be wrong but i dont think Twente will budge on this unless De Jong forces it which he doesnt look like doing best to move on to other targets and its not like the world is lacking in young quality forwards. This is'nt like the Debuchy situation where if we failed to get him the drop off in quality would be quite significant.
