I like him and have no ill-feeling to him at all, infact i wish he stayed but if he wants to go elsewhere to get consistent game time then more power to him. Wish him luck where ever he decides to go.

I think that's exactly why they bought him, with Torres struggling to score goals and Mata and Hazard more creators that goalscorers. They wanted someone who would score goals and believe me he will. Yeah i dont think he will flop either infact i think he will be a great success, but lets see.

Hulk is'nt a striker..... he's a winger that scores goals. If Chelsea play Hulk as a CF they want shooting as it takes away from pretty much all of his best traits.

If we get 4-5mil for Simpson, £10m is not a significant outlay for 2 players who are better than him Yeah if we get a decent outlay for Simpson i can see us going for both especially when you consider Clyne can play both roles and will be cheap. Debuchy will be first choice and Clyne will push both him and Santon for a spot... what squads are all about and if we want to stay where we are it makes sense to make signings like this. Besides Clyne cant expect to walk into the starting line up of the 5th best team in the premier league.

Hulk is a winger who scores bucket loads of goals not a striker.... any manager who buys hulk and puts him as a CF really has not done his home work tbh.... But it does beg the question did Chelsea really need him? and with Hazard, Mata and Hulk behind Torres do they have enough defensive ability to protect the back 4 to make it work? they will have to press like Barca to make it work IMO. Agree, thats the thing with all the DM's france have they are good stoppers the difference with M'Vila is he is much better on the ball but that probably wont matter if Nasri drops a bit deeper and give Cabaye the license to link everything.

Tbf to Benny he was hardly given the ball during those 15 mins and the game was pretty dead when he came on.... Hopefully he starts the next friendly alongside Benzema and Ribery and impresses. I get the feeling Menez is edging it atm.

But he's damn effective and creates shit loads and everything seems to go through him for both Bayern and France.. Seeing as Ribery didnt start the last game id love to see the link up between Benzema, Ribery and Ben Arfa . According to french reports Ben Arfa and Debuchy will come on in the 2nd half.
