Anyone watching AZ-Valencia ? that Maher kid we were linked with looks canny like, i would describe him as a more attacking version of Thiago( Barcelona) would be great along side Tiote and Cabaye from what i have seen..... But no way could he replace Tiote like the article was reporting.

Johnson is a talented player but hes a bit of headless chicken hes what i like to call a "motd player" he will look good for 10-20 mins but the rest of the game he will go missing. If Johnson can make Enrique look silly then HBA with the right service certainly can as already mentioned Enrique is fantastic at forcing players outwide and use speed and strength to his advantage but he does not like people coming inside of him where he cant use those tools.

How do we know Dalglish signed them and not someone else at board level or someone in his backroom tipped him off? also my point was my feeling that Dalglish would prefer a british player over a foreigner 9/10. Has Kenny either bought a substantial amount of players outside the UK? with us he dismantled our team and replaced mostly with over the hill british crap and at Blackburn he spent millions on crap tonnes of british players. Not theres anything wrong with that but i wonder if hes capable of searching for players outside the UK and choosing a foreigner over a brit if he had to pick. After all he supposedly chose Downing over Mata in the summer.......

If his idea of progress is going from playing utter shite but going results now and again to playing some good stuff but not getting any results then i hope he stays at Liverpool until he kicks the bucket.

Agree, people talk about Jose as a "weak" link who HBA would just humiliate. Jose is, as much as i hate to say it, a very very good LB. Strong and fast. Will not be easy for HBA. Let HBA roam inside and have a go at Carragher instead then

Losing Guthrie would be a mistake. Simpson leaving would be a blessing. Disagree slightly, Guthrie is a decent player but if he were to leave it wouldnt effect us too much we could easily replace him with better tbh.

Keita is a good player he just doesnt fit Barca's style of play as much as the other CM's and slows them down.

Finally Mackems in Milan! Sort of agree VI but getting Keita off and Iniesta to the middle and someone on to provide width would be a good idea too.

I am not VI but i think it will eventually be Thiago tbh, hes the closest thing to Xavi out of those 3 with some Brazilian flair thrown in...... Iniesta is more like Zidane and Fabregas is nothing like Xavi and his time at Barca has proved it hes much more direct and rather than being a midfield general he likes to be in the final third of the pitch either providing the final pass or scoring a goal. A wildcard id throw in is Sergio Busquets he reminds me of a young Xavi in lots of ways, but i do think it will eventually be Thiago.

about 25mill for tiote and i don't think we have the choice for ba if the clause stories are true. So if Chelsea offered say £15m for Tiote and we accepted it, you'd criticise the club?
