What you on about? there is actual proof that we typically don't bring in many players in June. And certainly not on a fee. People on here are just getting in early, in the hope that they get that glorious opportunity to say "I told you so". That isn't it at all People are just concerned history will repeat itself and they are right to be concerned tbh.

I mean we'll probably still sign players, like everyone else will as most teams have been quite so far. Issue is our owner is and the history of ineptitude that surrounds the football club. So i don't really blame people for getting concerned over this.

Bournemouth made near 130m for getting 9th in the prem last season, I read we got about 7m for winning the championship. The disparity now is huge. Can't really compare even us as a newly promoted side given what all the prem sides just earned. That would be fair enough if it wasn't blatant as hell if we wouldn't be spending that sort of money anyway. Head in sand stuff to suggest otherwise.

I would be very surprised if they buy Sanchez AND a forward tbh, i understand why they want a forward considering how wasteful they were last season and what they have currently sounds great on paper but the reality is it wasn't putting away chances last season. Spurs and Chelsea were much more clinical than they were, but buying Sanchez and Dembele is massively overkill and reeks of just doing it because you can. The rest of their supposed targets make sense IMO, they desperately needed fullbacks anyway and even more so now some have left and everyone always talk about how bad their CBs are.

Not true mind, there's literally thousands of examples of players agreeing with a club before a fee has taken place. It happens all the time.

It's definitely slow across the board tbh, look at most teams in the league and most of them are really quiet. It's just that we need signfiicant investment and we have a history of completely incompetent transfer windows.

I mean it's not like we haven't done it in the past, we just don't outbid teams with decent amounts of money but PL clubs have more money than most European teams. Outbidding Lazio wouldn't exactly be surprising, although considering the source i wouldn't exactly get too excited just yet.

Fully understand it's Conte's way of doing things and it worked last season, but i'm not sure going for two hard working midfielders and relying on Hazard for pretty much all the creativity is going to work long term.
