The title man -
You have superhuman levels of patience if so.

I said i would be surprised if he were to go for more than low 20s so colour me surprised. With that said i kind of expect that to end there, so i'll be right regardless.
-
Honestly I get Rafa being frustrated but the examples used are not exactly due to the club being cheap as usual tbh. Cabellero wants to go to Chelsea, can't really do much about that. Delph there hasn't been enough information out to say anything but there hasn't been any inclination we have baulked at any prices, same goes for Mangala really. With Abraham it sounded more like Agents and Chelsea and fucking around more than anything else and the lad from Eibar has a release clause which I think will be done personally. There's far much more to this than just the club being cheap as shit and refusing to pay.

I wouldn't be particularly confident at being a competent PL side with those targets mind, although it is worrying just because what it means long term for everyone.

Want to feel old? Messi is 30 today. I still remember his debut when he was 16, definitely doesn't feel like 14 years ago.

Because he was, he's not a DM. Which is why 343 suited him and Ramsey. As Chelsea have proved in such a system you don't really need a traditional DM. They'll be fine in that position, as long as they keep the system. If not they'll need another midfielder because they'll be far too open.

Took them like a decade But aye about time they bought a CF, as for other signings i don't think they need another midfielder if they stick 3 at the back personally as it seemed to really suit Xhaka and Ramsey. Will probably need a winger instead mind.

I'm liable to believe the reason it's not confirmed yet is because it's not actually done. Shocking i know -

If that was the case we would have waited to announce Atsu too. -
Well i obviously disagree with the 10-12m tops comment, i would be surprised if he went for more than low 20s though.
-
Aye but it's Swansea( who i can't see holding out for ridiculous money), if he goes more than low 20s i'll be very surprised. Especially considering he's already failed to succeed at a big club. Having said that i wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't go at all.
-
Even in 2017 he won't go more than half that, i'll bet money on it.

Pardew man. Still makes me so angry. Clueless dipstick. Considering how much influence Carr had, why didn't he insist on Pardew getting binned sooner as he had no clue about any of the players being provided?! Good riddance to them both. So happy they are now both history. The manager should always have say on transfers. Not when he's Alan Pardew they shouldn't, if he had his way he'd have signed the likes of Darren Bent, Steve Sidwell etc etc. Hell one of the worst players we have to this day is an Alan Pardew signing.
-
I don't expect them to win the league regardless tbf, their defence and CMs are nowhere near good enough even if the attacks performs above potential.
-
depends what you want, they will simply not win the league with that lineup and i'd suggest they'll struggle to push on from last year as well it's like a load of false nines or whatever, it'll have it's moment but without a proper focal point will lose it's way too much over a season That isn't the issue i see tbh, the issue i see is that Salah and Mane are both most effective coming in off the right wing. I struggle to see a scenario where one of them won't look significantly worse as they are forced to play an unnatural role. But we'll see i suppose.

Despite the fact every report says Lejeune has been handpicked by Rafa? I know it's hard, but because you are not hyped about a transfer doesn't mean Rafa isn't behind it. At least with Carr is gone now though we do know where we stand.
-
I think the fact Rafa is looking for a keeper says it was necessary, none of us where to know he was going to be shite though obviously.
-
No, he's not very good. Done nothing since he scored a couple against Sunderland.
-
Throwing enough shit at a wall etc etc, like i said most of the outside links make me believe there's something to this.
-
The fact we were linked earlier in the day with Gonalons for a similar amount tells me there's probably something to this, Rafa probably wants a DM and the price of both linked is pretty similar.
