Honestly i think it's important we have a CB who is mobile and can initiate play alongside the likes of Clark and Lascelles plus anyone we may buy. For that reason i hope we don't sell him and he gets a fair crack at it next season.

I'm hoping we sign Atsu and another winger while getting rid of Gouffran. Usually i wouldn't set my expectations that high, but i trust Rafa completely.

To me it's a no brainer tbh, although it depends on what Rafa wants to sign.

Didn't Rafa mention something about improving his movement off the ball? might explain some of it, he seems to have been getting the ball in more space in recent weeks.

Hayden at CB is a weird one, hopefully we do enough at the other end so it won't matter.

Didn't they spend around 20m on him, might be a tough ask.

Too small a sample size to take anything from it IMO, although I should be clear that I'm quite optimistic he will translate after his performances this season.

That's not a guarantee either like. The most Gayle has scored in the Premier League is 7. Mitrovic has beaten this and Perez equalled it. We've still no idea whether he's a Premier League squad player who can start 10-15 a season, make a similar number from the bench and score 6-10 a season, or if he's a Defoe who can single-handedly get the goals when starting over 30 games a season. It's why I was apprehensive about his signing to begin with, he proved me wrong obviously but I wouldn't want to rely on his performances continuing to carry us.

Even it wasn't I don't see why we shouldn't take advantage of a league wide rule which everyone else takes advantage of. It's completely nonsensical and putting yourself at a disadvantage for no real reason.

Want Hull to stay up because of the whole Merson he doesn't know the league crap. Not fussed on Swansea and Palace would be great because of the whole Pardew farce and Allardyce being relegated would be class. Realistically Swansea are probably gone.

It's all irrelevant anyway, they are gone and no real point debating the semantics of it.

Wouldn't be surprised if Palace lose every game and stay up, can't see Swansea capitalising on any dropped points myself. Would be class if they did mind.
