  1. What a ridiculous thing to say when he's been out for the majority of the season with a cruciate injury. Even if that's the case, he's never shown in his career that he's worth anywhere near that money. I doubt he'll show that in the future either, even he stays fit.

Gambling is just a tiny little bit different to loan sharks...
  3. You wouldn't get Butland though that's the point.
  4. You are in all seriousness some are setting themselves up for disappointment.
  5. VI would be able to say more as it's a Catalan paper but in my experience not much.
  6. Maguire personally, would rather take my chances that he could become something better where as we know what Shawcross is for better or worse.
  7. Some of the names HTT mentioned might be unrealistic but the general theme of the post is pretty much spot on. Hard to disagree with any of it.
  8. Is he actually good then? i assumed that he wasn't based on the price It's a release clause Yeah and Spanish teams are required to have them, usually they over inflate them because of this. I remember Barca putting on a 40m+ one on Bojan

  10. If that's the case I hope we plan to buy two strikers (assuming this has any truth to it)
  11. There's lots of numbers going around, i don't think actually knows and are just guessing. I wouldn't pay any attention to any of it until the transfer is actually confirmed.
  12. If Rafa gets his way i can't see that not being the case tbh. The mere fact he wanted a CM and winger in January means he knows we need both, plus it's obvious to pretty much everyone we don't have a 10 fit for purpose.
  13. I just find it hard to believe considering Rafa and Ashley haven't spoken yet, i genuinely doubt any of that is decided yet so i struggle to believe anyone knows.
  14. Going to repeat myself but genuinely things being reported before June are more than likely 99% bullshit, even then the media are clueless regardless. None of them have a f***ing clue.
  15. He's still astonishingly good, i get the feeling people take him for granted because he's not the force of nature from a stamina perspective that he used to be because well he's old. But he's still fantastic when it matters, been the best RB for the majority of his career and continues to be so IMO.

  17. Yeah, I certainly hope so. That's why we need to retain the core of the current squad...and that's why we're now seeing so many stories unsettling them. Honestly i'm surprised it's taken the media this long I hate that part of it mind, bunch of hypocrites who claim they someone new at the top but when it comes down to it they just want to keep the same status quo.
  18. There is definitely that perception. We drew away to Everton first game, then beat Palace, then drew at home to Liverpool. Not entirely unexpected results. Then we won four in a row. Played seven games, won five, drawn two. That's not a slow start. The problem was October and November. After beating Man City at home Oct 2nd we drew four league games in a row, blagged a win against West Ham then were a bit unlucky to lose away to Chelsea. What else was happening around that time? Europe and injuries. That's the key. Fair enough, i think partly it's because Kane seems to start slow ( maybe i'm wrong about that too ) and performances don't seem as good as they second half of the season that it creates that perception. I know i fell for it.
