  1. I expect Krul to leave, and if so Reina would make huge sense. Darlow and Elliot looked alright I guess, but I'd still want Krul or someone with Reinas experience to help us get promoted directly. But don't see why Reina would leave Napoli for us instead of Barcelona unless playing time means a lot to him. I don't, i expect Sissoko, Wijnaldum and Janmaat to leave but not Krul.
  2. If we were the fallback for Rafa... Does anyone actually care if we were or not? Because I certainly don't.

Aye I don't give him credit for HBA, any nutcase could have seen that one.

Except hardly any of us knew who Cabaye was when we signed him and don't lie. I mean any scout who watched him probably would have noticed him but please not let's act like he was a world renowned name. There's been plenty of other great players like Aubameyang among others that he advised we get but Ashley never put the cash down. Sure there's been a lot of duds but let's not act like the only good players he's put forward to the club have been Cabaye or Ben Arfa.
  5. Shitty patch and wonga aside I don't mind it, so business as usual then.

Aye if he's just going to be a scout and Rafa makes the final calls on everything i don't really see an issue.
  7. Wikipedia says he joined the Valencia staff in January, doesn't say what he does specifically though.
  8. Isn't he the really pacey one?
  9. We'll see. I'm probably wrong but it's foolish to think that you'll go straight back up. Not really it's a dog shit standard league, only ones who don't come straight back up are just that or they sell all the quality they do have and don't replace them.
  10. I have a hard time believing the whole selling thing tbh, not because of Rafa himself but the c***s above him. I do believe however that who ever we sell are replaced significantly and in some cases better because of Rafa. It's going to be a great season imo, can't wait. Which is not something I expected to say 2 weeks ago.
  11. The way some people talk about the championship is nuts, it's just a league full of limited teams, we heard all this guff last time we went down. They talk about it like it's a 15 round fight with a grizzly bear.
  12. War chest ffs been a while since I heard that.
  13. I'd add Simeone to that list, too. Better than Rafa? Klopp & Wenger it's a no. Ancelotti & Simeone maybe. Lets see how Guardiola goes in the PL, I have a feeling he will struggle. Simeone maybe. Wenger no. Klopp yes. Ancelotti definitely. I'd rather Benitez than Guardiola too. Benitez over Pep. I might revisit this in a year but aye he is. Pep has been handed teams that are some of the best ever. Benitez has won trophies with second tier sides. Won the CL with f***ing Liverpool ffs. That's not exactly true imo. Whatever has happened since, Pep created one of the best teams ever at Barcelona, he didn't have it handed to him at all. He set them up that way and he had them playing in that style. Bayern was a very easy gig for him and he didn't prove anything, but that shouldn't taint what he did at Barcelona, because it really was a massive deal. Rijkaard put that team together imo. What a load of bollocks. When Rijkaard left the team was a mess, key parts of it aka Deco and Ronaldinho and others were leaving or on decline. Iniesta wasn't even a starter at that time, Xavi was in and out of the team wasn't the guy we know him as today. Pique, Alves weren't there, Busquets was in the reserves. I could go on and on here really, also Messi was a kid at the time although that was good timing more than anything in all fairness. I hate to keep defending him but the amount uninformed crap that gets spewed is amazing to me. Xavi and Iniesta started like 100 games between them in his last season and you reckon they were in and out of the team. Busquets was a f***ing kid too. Iniesta wasn't a starter then, i'm pretty sure VI can back me up on this. Also Rijkaard played two DMs with Deco in front quite a lot. Anyway i have said what i need to say. Carry on.

How comes Barca only got success again once they signed Neymar and Suarez then? absolutely ridiculous some of the criticisms he gets tbh. Only man in the history of football i can think of that consistently wins league titles and gets to at least the CL semis and if he doesn't get the treble it's not considered enough. Don't ever recall Ferguson, Ancelotti or Mourinho ever getting the same level of expectations or criticism and they had some pretty f***ing amazing teams too, hell Ancelotti won the league once with Milan. Shut it Mole, Froggy is trying to be nice for once and support our move and you're trying to correct him. Stop being so defensive, this has nothing to do with Rafa It has everything to do with the usual bollocks that gets spewed by uninformed idiots.
