Portugal, Belgium, Italy and France IMO. I do think Italy will peak too early, but not in this round. Reckon they'll lose in the semi final based on nothing but because it supports the argument as tbh i don't even know who they would play.

Another thing we need to stop doing is forcing a load of players in the team because they are supposed to be the " best " so many players are playing out of position compared to what they do for their clubs. Alli plays behind the striker, Sturridge is a centre forward, Rooney is never a CM even if he passes like one sometimes, whole thing is digustingly disjointed and everyone wonders why we can't break any team down when there is nobody to set the play up when the team is full of forwards or players or act like ones. It's one of the reasons i have always hated Rooney in midfield, don't care what anyone says he doesn't know how to play the position properly. He's constantly in the wrong positions and acting like a forward in midfield, it takes more than the ability to hold on to the ball and switch play to be a central midfielder. Although that's not really his fault like it isn't Sturridge and Alli's fault they are not used correctly either.

Just noticed Germany and Italy in the next round Thought Italy was class today, although i wasn't massively surprised considering that they match up well with Spain in recent years other than the one that really mattered and obviously their organisation is fantastic. Genuinely think they'd be favourites to win the thing if Marchisio and Verratti were fit and do think at some point their lack of individual quality bites them in the arse even if it doesn't against Germany. Not really seen Germany though but i imagine they are not much worse than they were at the WC.

I think it's fairly obvious the media takes a large part in picking your team because you have weak willed managers in charge. It's not just the media, as mentioned in my posts. It's just one part of a larger problem that needs correcting on all levels to get a fully functional team. Well that's true, point being that Roy Hodgson or the media doesn't make the players make awful decisions that a non league player would wince at. I would agree it's an issue and just part of a larger issue that needs correcting though.

The reason we suck has nothing to do with the media, it's been a scapegoat for years and quite frankly has to stop. The reason we suck above all else EVERY SINGLE PLAYER constantly make dumb decisions and were thicker than the average bloke down the local, that's not something which can be pinned on Roy Hodgson or the media. How we develop players is all wrong and pretty much every single one seem to have the IQ of a rabbit, actually no that would be unfair to the rabbit and until that changes we will continue to play like shit.

If you can't be confident with beating Iceland you might as well have not qualified to begin with because we'll have no chance of dealing with the rest and what's the point in qualifying if you are just going to make up the numbers? Just a waste of time, i'm trying not to sound like a prick here but this Newcastle mentality of everyone is class being applied to international football is really making it difficult.
