Bit late to the party on this whole Conte stuff but i really struggle to understand what Chelsea are doing, the owner has fallen out with Mourinho twice because of the way his teams play and Conte based on his time at Juventus is no different and if anything he might be more stubborn and cautious.
I suppose if it fails they can just throw money at the next guy but still it doesn't make much sense imo.
Not sure how it's a great time to play them personally, they are in tremendous form( arguably better than anyone else in the country over the last couple of months) the only real advantage is their fixture pile up as they might choose to rest players.
I would look at it positively just because of how we played against City but not because of anything Liverpool are doing as they couldn't be doing any better right now really.
Navas used to be class in his Sevilla days, now he just sort of does nothing but run into his fullback. But in fairness to him City have worse players.
And because he's our greatest player ever it means he's automatically right? footballers are known for saying moronic things, because he's been there and done it don't mean i have to agree with him and bow down to him.
Bertrand over Rose? Hasn't Rose been quality this season.
No idea, don't really watch Spurs much and in fairness Spurs have better CBs than we do. Just based on what i have seen over their careers.
In fairness he doesn't have much competition. Shaw is injured, Gibbs never plays and i have no idea about Baines and i can't think of anyone else so he's probably a lock to start regardless.
He can defend, it is his concentration because he finds it so easy that is his problem.
Time will tell if he can learn that with experience though, not really under the right manager with Everton sadly.
