  1. What position does he play? Can't say I have seen him before.
  2. To be frank Neymar should have been above Suarez and Ronaldo. Not that it matters mind seeing as the right guy won in the end.
  3. That's the point, he's deadly as an impact sub but as a starter it's different and would he except being a sub his whole career to make it at a big club? I doubt it.
  4. Schurrle is just a finisher tbh, his general play is shite which is why he'll never make it at a big club.
  5. Tbf if I experienced that 4-4 on the other side it would probably have scared me for life. As it is though
  6. IP actually thinking there is logic behind Stifler's post instead of incessant rambling. Wew.
  7. Lots of players have looked shit for Chelsea tbf, although it is a risk. He's not what a lot of people think he is tbh, he's not a no 10 for example and isn't very often going to open up a team which is packed in it's own penalty area. What he is how ever is a fantastic counter attacking player and has a fantastic final ball( be it crosses or through balls)which leads to him getting insane stats. Time will tell whether that's what City needs or not or if he needs an entire team built around him like he did in Wolfsburg, he's very talented at lots of things though and could be fucking class in England but it depends how he's used.
  8. Disagree, tbh, it's a decent draw this year. City will win, but Juventus is vulnerable, imo. They've struggled and in one case failed to qualify above Galatasaray and Olympiakos in the last two seasons. Who are the two stronger teams in H? Zenit is very strong and can easily challenge the other two. I would give CSKA and Gala a good chance of sneaking through as well. Tbf though, the Champions League group stage is almost always bland, sterile, and predictable, so you are probably correct. I still think it will be a good mind, just think the end result is quite predictable. But tbf it almost always is so not sure why i would expect differently.
  9. Love it when Bontempi gets everyone riled up over his random ass formations
  10. Don't think it's that great tbh, Juventus and City are comfortably better than both Sevilla and Gladbach. To be frank other than Leverkusen and Roma all the groups are very predictable and have two teams which are much better than the rest.
  11. Tbf, they are a 1 seed. Really, the only way they would get an extremely difficult group was pulling Madrid from pot 2 and/or Wolfsburg from 4. The other three English teams were in more vulnerable positions, but frankly all four should be favoured to get through. B,C,D and E should all be very interesting and tight in terms of who gets through. edit: Group H has three very good and fairly even sides too. I'll let them off considering how the seedings is now, but it's just funny how they consistently get easy groups every year no matter what.
  12. Of all the 3rd/4th place teams in Europe i'd say Valencia have got the easiest ride, that group would probably be an easy group in the EL ffs.
  13. Oh no doubt, especially compared to the ridiculousness of Chelsea's group every fucking time.
  14. They'll get through, they are comfortably better than all of them except for Juventus.
  15. Says a man who soils himself at the sight of a mildly attractive female or minor football news.
  16. Pelle's goal was due to a lack of communication and Gomis scored to due Janmaat playing him onside. Mbemba has hardly been abused tbh and Taylor and Colo looked no better for the first 20 mins until McClaren changed to a 4-1-4-1 and it made us more solid as a team. I don't even see it as a debate tbh, but oh well.
  17. Don't know people make out defending is an individual game anyway, part of the reason we looked more solid defensively against Man Yoo was because the midfield gave the defense better protection. Had very little to do with the back 4 itself.
