Aye that's all i can think of as well.
-
We do it because he acts like a know it all constantly, it's not that he's a complete moron or anything more that he thinks he's above everyone else. It's not exactly the most glowing trait.
-
Really think we are tbh, no doubt the media will continue to drip stuff to keep fans hopeful right until the final day though.
-
I just don't think he's particularly good at developing young players, also i think he knows it as well. Not that there's anything wrong with that though, all top managers have things that they are not particularly good at from Guardiola, Ancelotti etc etc all of them have significant faults and this happens to be one of Mourinho's.
-
I was talking about creating opportunities, the main reason we struggled so much is because we moved off the ball like the players were strangers to each other. Was the case the entire time with Pardew and continued ( obviously) with Carver.
-
Even Varane isn't really that impressive really, half of europe wanted him. Most clubs knew how good he was going to be, not like Mourinho made him or anything. But yeah Mourinho is just not that guy and i doubt he really cares.
-
Fuck him, i'm gonna do the opposite to everything he says.

It's definitely possible. A lot depends on how the midfield gels, and obviously if Mbemba adapts. A lot might also depend on how well we manage to implement an improved possession/passing game overall. If we're controlling games with the ball it'll relieve the pressure on the defence and allow them to organise better. We've been so s*** with the ball for years the defenders have always been under immense pressure in games, ran ragged basically. Very good point again. Think we just have to see what impact our change in approach has on the team, and then start to make necessary changes from there. If Colo blows it then I'm sure Pardew will still be salivating for him in January anyway. Isn't true. Martinez teams are an example. But McClaren isn't a total football manager anyway. Crazy myth. He might not be, but we won't be punting the ball back to the opposition as much as we did under Pardew. He doesn't need to be a total football manager to help improve our possession, and reduce the amount of pressure we come under. Stop being so silly man. Martinez teams have plenty of possession. They also lose the ball plenty in dangerous situations and concede plenty of goals. No one said they didn't! The point is we conceded far more, and a big problem was our total incapability of keeping the ball, and so being under constant pressure. Are you serious right now? A lot of last season we actually kept the ball a good bit but just went nowhere with it because we didn't have any creativity I'd say the biggest reason is because we moved off the ball like a pub team it's arguably the biggest factor in keeping the ball and creating opportunities for the team if you are actually trying to pass the ball.

Extra happy about picking the German defender they bought instead of him now.
-
None of those things will happen sadly.
-
In Paris for next 5 years yeah he is
-
You think it's changed to the extent to protect him? because i don't.
-
I would have thought (southampton game the exception) that willo will be behind Mbemba colo dummet taylor in that order... He will be, but most of those players are not fit for one reason or another.
-
Completely agree, although that's not why i'm pissed by this. It's because he isn't any good now
-
Yeah, I think I agree. Think the guy was just fed up of how awful everything was at the club. We gave the guy no help. His partner was rubbish. The midfielders in front of him were rubbish. Guy had no protection whatsoever. He still won't
-
It's the Mike Williamson contract extension you need to look out for tbh.
-
Aye that has relevance to what he's like as a player today, good one.
-
Is probably that. We couldn't get anyone to pay for him when he had one year left, who the f*** is going to pay for him now? They won't but that's why it's been structured for one more year with an option for another, to try and make sure we can get something for him instead of nothing. It won't work like that obviously but the club will see it that way.
-
Is probably that.
-
With an option for another.
-
Not many questioned that when we finished 5th mind! Because real leadership doesn't shine through when it's going well, it's when it goes badly you know all about a person as a leader of men. Colo has obviously shown none.
-
I'm not surprised he's continuing as captain but i am surprised/pissed he's signing a new deal
-
Rondon would be class, eagerly awaiting Ryder to deny it within the hour.
